Biber Evi (Chilli House) is situated within the walls of the ancient city of Assos, present day Behramkale, facing the island of Lesvos. This unique village has panoramic views of the Gulf of Edremit and benefits from a gentle breeze coming from Mount Ida. This old house has been beautifully restored and is now an exclusive six bedroom boutique hotel in a romantic setting.

Features:
The restaurant offers a menu and wine list to satisfy a refined palate. Breads are baked in a traditional village oven and where possible vegetables and fruit are from the kitchen garden.

Lütfi Oğuzcan(the owner), through long association with Anglo-Saxon and Celtic cultures, has expertise in the field of single malt and blended whiskies. The terraces are a must for a drink to admire the view and watch the sunset. Should you wish to take away a souvenir there is a small gift shop with a chilli theme.

Rooms:
The rooms have been decorated in Ottoman style, the furniture and wood panelling hand carved using re-cycled timbers.
All rooms are en-suite and have modern comforts and facilities.
There is a no smoking policy in any of the rooms. The private garden and terrace is for the use of hotel guests only .
