Casa Bella Hostel in Havana, Cuba.
We rent a little apartment, with balconies to the street of San Lázaro, the longest of Havana; from there you can see not only the dawn and the sunset over the city, but also the everyday life or our people. Our hostel has two bedrooms, one of them with a double bed and the other with twin personal beds, both with air conditioned and the comfort of modern life. The attractive bathroom has hot and cold water 24 hours, and you can enjoy a multiple use room, which combines the facilities of Kitchen, dining room and sitting room, with TV, fridge and music equipment. If a gym fan, you can use the little gymnasium located in Irela’s house.
Services:
Our breakfast is so good that our guests usually don’t want to lunch after it. The price is only 4 CUC per person; includes slices of Cuban fruits, coffee & milk, toasts & butter, ham & eggs, and finally café espresso. For supper, just tell us what do you wish, and you will taste Irela’s exquisite plates, with prices below the ones of Cuban restaurants for tourists. You can go to one of the many restaurants in the surroundings, and compare: you will return to us!. Of course, if you want to cook your own meals, can buy at the nearby stores and supermarkets your provisions, and cook them at home. We offer additionally laundry and ironing service, not included in the room price. Cleaning service, shower gel, toilet paper, soap (toiletries) and linen (towels and bed clothing), are included in the price. We may complete your holiday plan, with information of local & national tours, hours, prices & means of transportation, connections in provinces, etc. At Irela’s you will have 24 hours security, safety box, storage and care of baggages and parking.
Location:
Casa Bella is located in the center of the city, not far from Old Havana, and very near to the old and prestigious Havana University and to La Rampa, a popular part of Vedado neighborhood, with the best night clubs, restaurants, hotels, shops, etc. Also, and the end of La Rampa, you can walk along the Malecon, preferred by lovers, enjoy the breeze of the Caribbean Sea border, and the beautiful landscape of the mouth of Havana bay. In no more than half an hour, by foot, you will be in the Central Park, the center of early XX Century city, and visit the wonderful Capitol building, the Museum of Beaux Arts, the Museum of Revolution (former Presidential Palace, a marvelous building), El Prado boulevard and many other points of interest, and in the boundaries of Old Havana. But we won’t describe Old Havana: you have to come for it!
