About us

In the city of San Juan de los Remedios (National Monument), placed in the province of Villa Clara, Republic of Cuba, you may find our Hostel “Villa Colonial”. Its wonderful location only 5 meters away from Historical Helmet and 100 meters away from the Central Square 'José Martí', offers the chance of getting in contact with the ancient city and its great colonial architecture from past centuries in a couple of minutes. Our Hostel 'Villa Colonial' is a beautiful colonial house built in 1895 keeping its original aspect in its interior and main façade. Its inner decoration suits its colonial style and gives the client an excellent comfort and absolute secured intimacy during all your stay. Our Hostel 'Villa Colonial'has an independent entrance.

Accommodation and Services

The property offers a hall, two living rooms, two dining rooms for sixteen (16) guests, six air-conditioned bedrooms(fan and split air conditioning) each one with private inner bathrooms and hot / cold water 24 hours a day, a yard, a terrace on the second floor and also on the third floor with bar, bathroom, tables and armchairs, decoration with plants . We offer food service with creole meals 24 hours a day with Refrigerator to the direct service of the client.

We also offer cocktails and secured parking services. We offer laundry services, phone and Internet access by wifi. At your departure from our Hostel, we may organise (if you ask us to do it) your future lodging at any Hostel in our country as well as your comfortable transportation by taxi. We speak English. Our Hostel Villa Colonial Frank and Arelys can organize Spanish lessons at a local private language school, with qualified language teachers offering individual tuition at any level from beginners.

Staying at Villa Colonial with Frank and Arelys, and their teenage children is very similar to a home-stay in other countries.
