The Bar:
Welcome to your living room, a chilled co-working space during the day, vibrant café by night. Tea, coffee, beer and wine are available all day from our friendly staff behind the bar, along with a large selection of freshly made snacks from our rather fantastic kitchen team.
The perfect place to grab a beer, unwind and relax after a hard day shredding the slopes.

The Kitchen:
Hideout are delighted to have the incredibly passionate team behind South West Surf House Hossegor in the kitchen this winter. Focusing on fresh, healthy and exciting ingredients to create innovative dishes which shy away from the classic meat and cheese party we are used to in Morzine.
Lora our head chef is obsessed with food, and we are sure you will fall for her outstandingly delicious menu which takes inspiration from all across the Globe.

Morzine, the hub of European snowboarding and mountain biking for well over 20 years. An endless playground of unimaginable excitement and adventure, where even the most seasoned traveler can find the perfect escape from the constant grind of modern life.
It’s beautiful here, boasting breathtaking views of the portes du soleil whilst still holding on to it’s eccentric small town charm.

By night you can see why Morzine has been consistently voted one of the top 10 aprés destinations in the World. There is a huge selection of local bars, restaurants and clubs for you to unwind in, many of which are part of our hideout App, offering multiple seasonaire discounts for you and your traveling companions.
So what about the mountain? With over 650km of skiable pistes, in 2 countries, over 12 resorts, with 196 ski lifts and 280 slopes, it’s pretty huge! In fact the Portes du Soleil is the largest ski area in Europe.
In just Avoriaz alone (direct access just 300 meters from the Hostel) there is a super pipe, 2 freestyle parks and the World famous Burton Stash for those of you who really like to send it.
Although Morzine is famed for its incredible Ski and snowboard terrain during the winter, it does also hold some hidden gems during the rest of the year for those who are willing to play off the beaten track.
Pick your pace with a vast array of local activities during winter and summer. Be it abseiling down waterfalls at the Cascades d’ Nyon in summer, or ski touring deep into the wild during the tranquil interseasons.
We have it all, and we want you to enjoy the best of our town no matter what time of year, so feel free to talk to our team about seasonal local activities.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment information

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation at Hideout Hostel. The balance is due 10 weeks prior to the date of arrival at the hostel. If the balance is not paid in full 9 weeks prior to the date of arrival the booking will be treated as a cancellation.



Cancellation information

If the balance is not paid in full 9 weeks prior to the date of arrival the booking will be treated as a cancellation. Should the client wish to cancel a booking 9 weeks prior to the date of arrival and after the balance is paid there will no refund offered. In the unlikely event Hideout Hostel has to cancel your booking, Hideout Hostel will offer a full refund. Should the client wish to change booking details, an administration charge may be levied.



Insurance

It is a strict condition of booking that every client staying at Hideout Hostel has a travel insurance policy expressly covering specific activities the client undertakes whilst in resort. We strongly advise clients to have a travel insurance policy to cover holiday cancellations made by the client.



Behaviour

Whilst staying at Hideout Hostel, all clients are expected to behave in an orderly and acceptable manner. Should their behaviour threaten the condition of the accommodation or seriously impair the enjoyment of other guests, Hideout Hostel reserves the right to refuse to further accommodate the guilty party and contractual obligations will be terminated. Card details will be recorded at check in as a security deposit and the guilty party will be liable for the cost of any damage so caused.



Food & Beverages

Hideout Hostel does not provide any self-catering facilities to guests. Due to licensing restrictions guests are not allowed to bring their own alcohol beverages or food into the hostel. Only alcoholic beverages and food purchased in the hostel may be consumed on the premises.



Smoking

We operate a strictly no smoking policy in the hostel. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas where ashtrays are provided. If it is found that you have smoked within our accommodation you will be liable to a cleaning charge of up to €500.00.



Personal Belongings

Hideout Hostel will not be held responsible for any theft or loss of personal belongings from our premises. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure the security of personal possessions of the party, we cannot guarantee it. Please be aware of this fact and leave expensive / personally valuable items at home. In the event that a client leaves property in the hostel upon departure, the client will pay postage costs and no responsibility will be accepted if the returned items arrive in a damaged state.



Check In / Check Out

On arrival, your room will be available after 16.00. On departure day you must vacate your room by 10:00. If required, storage facilities for luggage will be provided on departure day. Hideout Hostel does not accept any liability for loss or damage to left luggage.



Information

Hideout-hostel.com website information is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of going live. Information cannot be guaranteed since changes can occur at any time outside the control of Hideout Hostel.



Passports / Visas

It is the client’s responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport and/or any necessary visas. If you do not have a British or EC passport, please be sure to check visa requirements for the countries you will be visiting. Remember, most flights are to Geneva in Switzerland which is not an EC member.
