Summer Lodge is located 16 km west of Hania town by the old coastal road and there is frequent bus service to the airports CHQ & HER as well as to the ports of Hania & Heraklion. If you arrive to Crete at Hania airport (code CHQ) you can get with less than 3 EURO the local bus, or a taxi to Hania (drive costs about 25 EURO) then the local bus to Pirgos Psilonerou. Ask which bus goes to Maleme and buy a ticket before getting on. Last bus is at 23:30. We are located between bus stop No. 30 & 31 (two minutes walk, single ticket costs about 2 EURO). A taxi fare from airport to Summer Lodge costs about 48 EURO. If you arrive by ferry at Hania Port (Souda Bay) you can get the local bus (blue color) to Hania town and then the bus to Pirgos Psilonerou. A taxi fare from Souda to Summer Lodge costs about 40 EURO. From Heraklion airport (code HER) you can get a taxi to the town center (10 minutes drive) then the bus to Hania (single ticket costs about 12 EURO) The bus station is located across the road from the ferry pier where boats from Athens & Santorini arrive to. A taxi fare from Heraklion to Summer Lodge costs about 180 EURO. If you drive your own car, take the new road to Kissamos and take the second exit passed Hania. Look for the signs Platanias-Maleme.
