概要

In the midst of Fahraj, crammed between adobe walls you will find a traditional house where history comes alive. Farvardinn Desert Inn is where a 150 years old village house has been renovated and opened to visitors. Following Iranian vernacular architecture the rooms are large and set around a courtyard which features a beautiful fountain pool and 4 rose beds. Here guests will be served local food, local milk, yogurt and crops and vegetables of indoor greenhouse.

Fahraj village is delicately placed at the edge of the Lut desert. This place warmly welcomes history and nature lovers from across the world. It is known for its magnificent Jame mosque, and Shohada—the reminiscent of Zoroastrians only victory against the Muslim Arabs after the Qadesia and Nahavand battles while invading Iran in 632. The Jame mosque has two iwans, built upon 12 huge pillars and is known to be the first mosque ever built in Iran.
