Aldebaran Bed & Breakfast situated in the old centre of Cagliari – Quartiere della Marina. Our friendly guest house is only a few steps from the harbour and the train station.
Thanks to the very central location, all major city attractions are only a few minutes walk: the shopping streets of Via Roma, Largo Carlo Felice, Via Manno... There are art galleries: Suoni e Pause, La Bacheca. There are cafés that host the literary festival of 'Marina Café Noir.': Café Barcelona, Café Savoy and Manamana.
The Marina district is bordered with the Castle district (Quartiere Castelo) that can be reached by a few minutes walk or by comfortable lifts. In the Castle district, there are ancient structures of defence of the city: the Bastion of San Remy, the Tower of San Pancrazio, the Tower of Elephant from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The Cathedral, the Viceregio Palace, the ancient Jewish Ghetto, are other important places to visit. The National Archaeological Museum shows the most important testimonies of the ancient history of Sardinia.
All important government offices and offices of the regional institutions are just a few minutes away from Aldebaran.
