Ich würde nicht mehr in dieses Hostel gehen. Als meine Freundin und ich ankamen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir nichtmal gebucht haben sollen, worauf ich meine Buchungsbestätigung zeigte. Uns wurde dann erlaubt einzutreten, aber anscheinend wäre nur für 1 Person gebucht worden, obwohl deutlich bei der Buchungsbestätigung stand, dass wir zu zweit kommen würden. Uns wurde trotzdem nur ein Einzelzimmer gegeben, mit EINEM Einzelbett!!!! Eingecheckt wurden wir irgendwie nie.. es schien als würde sich das Personal nicht wirklich auskennen. Auch wurden wir um 10 Euro ,,betrogen‘‘, da sie uns die Anzahlung beim Buchen nochmal zahlen liessen, und nach mehreren Emails erhielten wir keine Antwort bzw. Rückerstattung der 10 Euro. Sehr schade, NICHT empfehlenswert!

Bardzo przytulne miejsce. Blisko do najważniejszych atrakcji Rzymu. Dobra jakość za stosunkowo niską cenę. Zdecydowanie polecam!!

Chambre grande, propre et assez bon marché.
Personnel sympa
L'extérieur parait vieillot mais l'intérieur est nickel.
Emplacement excellent : 15 minutes à pied du Colisée et 10 minutes du métro.

Stated that there would be AC, all other guests and ourselves agreed it was ridiculously hot and uncomfortable. Ignored all inquiries in regards to getting a fan or AC but emailed back quickly in regards to check in. Breakfast was small prepackaged toast. When asking the staff in the morning for a fan, handed a hair dryer and unable to answer any questions. If you are going in the summer, highly recommend staying somewhere else as the rooms are uncomfortably hot and sheets are unclean.

Great place to stay for a few days, close to historical center, good location - very nice and helpful host - realy good:) The rooms and bathrooms cleaned everyday. There are big rooms, comfortable beds, free wi-fi and city maps, 24 h open. The problem is that no place for ssmoking.

room is clean. wifi is weak and a little far from center. walking distance is about 30 min. it is impossible te eat breakfast. because time is late for backpackers.and staff is impolite and unkind. on the middle night, somebody is sleeping. but the staff never said to sorry for waking up.

The location was atwalking distance from Coloso. The guest house was neat and clean. Bathroom were 2 which were shared betwwen six guestroom,but i liked the sstay there.
The lady at guest house guided us well.Will prefer to go there again.

Laterano Guest house is very near to Colosseum. It is clean and simple guest house. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable and clean. Good value for the price. Staff gives you a map and gives advices.Very nice people working in there.
I would definately recommend this hostel for travellers who are looking for easy accomodation near attractions, simple basic rooms and a good price. Only minus is that there is no common space for everyone to use, but oh well were in Rome, who wants to spend time in hotel anyway? :)

I thought it was a pretty good place to stay...very central. However I wish they would let you keep your bags there for a few hours after you check out so that you can still tour the area like other hostels I've been to let us do.

Zimmer o.k., auch alles sauber, Lage geht so, allerdings ist Abwesenheit von Personal nicht zuträglich, wenn lärmende Jugendliche die NachbarZimmer bevölkern. Man muss selbst regulierend eingreifen, wenn man Ruhe haben möchte. Und das brauche ich im Urlaub eigentlich nicht ...

Nasz pobyt w Laterano Guest House był komfortowy i bezproblemowy. Podczas zakwaterowania dostaliśmy mapkę, która znacznie ułatwiła nam kluczenie po rzymskich uliczkach. Codziennie rano czekała na nas prawdziwa kawa i słodkie śniadanie. Pokój duży i czysty, łazienka wyposażona w suszarkę. Lokalizacja ma swoje plusy i minusy. Jest tam spokojnie, do Colloseum okolo 15 minut pieszo, a do metra 10 minut.

un po' rumoroso, zona abbastanza comoda 7 min dalla metro e 15 dal Colosseo. La proprietaria e' gentile, si vede solo per la colazione. Sul sito c'era scritto che c'era servizio deposito quando in realtà poi non è stato offerto. colazione poco ricca, servita in servizio di plastica. camere pulite, bagno un po' meno ma essendo in comune la colpa era di quelli che l'avevano utilizzato prima, la proprietaria lo puliva ogni mattina. per brevi permanenze e' più che accettabile.

We did't like this place at all.We even have any towel,we couldn't find any staff to ask for it.It wasn't clear,included bed linen. And finally we had some extra charge for something we did't expect. The location of this place was really really good. Staying there for at exorbitant price .

Es wird zwar jeden Tag sauber gemacht, jedoch ist ein geteiltes Badezimmer immer nur so sauber wie die anderen Gäste. Es gibt keine Seife im Bad. Schimmel an den Wänden im Bad.
Frühstück besteht aus abgepackten Croisannts auf Plastiktellern; Plastikbesteck; Plastikbecher. Hier wird kein Handschlag zuviel für die Gäste getan. Aber das Personal ist ganz nett. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist das Hostel ok.

The hostel is located ad the ground floor near a busy street. a 10 minutes walk from the subway station S.Giovanni. Very good value for the price charged as January and February are low season. Staff is friendly and helpful. Big rooms with large beds. Two shared bathrooms outside the rooms. wifi and breakfast included.

Large and confortable rooms, great position (near to the centre, to public transport keypoints, and a few steps from a huge supermarket open on Sundays). Veery simple sweet breakfast included (hot beverage + something packed to eat).
Bring a towel with you.
Only remark: long wait for bathroom usage is possible, in the morning...but...never mind! ;) just smile and be ready to find creative solutions! Recommended!

Che dire se non che mi sono trovato benissimo. Al mio arrivo la signora dello staff mi ha spiegato tutto quello che c'era da sapere con molta pazienza e cortesia. Stanza pulita e riordinata ogni giorno.
Essendo a Roma per un concorso dovevo uscire la mattina presto alle 6 e quindi ho avvisato che non avrei potuto usufruire della colazione, ma dal giorno successivo ho avuto la piacevole sorpresa di trovare sempre alla sera la colazione in camera per il giorno dopo.
Proprietario/titolare cordiale è disponibile.
In più il posto è situato in pieno centro e a 5 minuti dalla fermata della metro, comodissimo.
L'ho subito consigliato ad un mio collega di concorso che aveva bisogno di una camera per prolungare la sua permanenza a Roma.
Che altro aggiungere: se dovessi ricapitare a Roma posso già dire a colpo sicuro che tornerò da voi.

nice, clean hostel, great location. Only one defect - very noisy, the windows overlook a busy street, close to the hospital so often drive the ambulance.but if you have a whole day walking around Rome, you do not hear anything:) For us it wasn't a big problem:)

Room was clean and big, with WiFi. They give usual Rome breakfast, but no access to kithen. A bit noisy (our room was facing street), thin walls and no air conditioning.

Great hostel, very clean, good location. We got a map from the owner on which he showed us the most important things to see at rome - very friendly and so we exactly knew where to go.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night. The room was clean but a bit sterile with only a few pieces of IKEA furniture. The bed was comfortable enough, but the shared shower was incredibly small (banged my elbows on the walls while shampooing). Breakfast was a packaged croissant and a cup of coffee/tea. It's quite a hike to the train station (with extra luggage) although the neighborhood is full of restaurants. Overall nothing special.

L'ostello è nuovo, molto confortevole e molto pulito (sebbene l'inciviltà di alcuni ospiti a volte rende il bagno, che è condiviso, sporchissimo). Non è in un punto molto centrale della città, però è molto vicino a 2 fermate della metro ed è vicinissimo a varie fermate dell'autobus. In generale il mio giudizio è più che positivo
