Although it is located a little bit far away from the center, but there is indeed a local bus stop nearby and the cpt bus stop is just in front of the hospital. Remember to ask the driver to stop before arriving the city center.

The food of their partner restaurant in a nearby hotel is good.

Ostello perfetto.Il fatto che sia un po' fuori mano per me è un pregio per il silenzio che lo circonda. forse dovreste differenziare le colazioni, perchè la vostra è abbondantissima e differenziata, quindi giustamente cara, ma non tutti mangiano tanto, quindi rinunciano a farla da voi, che invece sarebbe non solo comodo, ma scenograficamente ...perfetto! Grazie. A presto.

A szálláshely őrzi az épület eredeti funkciójának légkörét: igazi testi és lelki pihenést, felüdülést adott a fárasztó, élménydús volterrai városnézés után. Ha volna egy szép sétaútja a városba, talán mellőztük volna az autót.

Aparentemente todo estaba nuevo y limpio, pero las habitaciones no tenian a/c y el aparato que tenian de ventilación era una ruina. Dormir 4 personas en una habitación sin ningún tipo de ventilación es horrible. Fue la peor noche de mi viaje. Una sola ducha para 8 personas. ¡Fatal!

La doccia e' una ogni 8 persone (2 stanze) e non ogni 4 come indicato in questo sito, inoltre la stanza e' molto rumorosa in quanto sotto le finestre dalla mattina presto passano i camions diretti all'ospedale. Ho fatto presente questo e mi hanno dato allo stesso prezzo una stanza all'hotel La Foresteria.

Lo buscamos como Siena, pero resulto bastante mas lejos... solo si van en auto. El lugar muy lindo para descanzar

Apartamento con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en Lucca. Está a 10 minutos andando del centro, lo mejor es alquilar una bici y dejar el coche en el aparcamiento gratuito. Muy recomendable.

Without any warning we were accomodated in a different kind of accomadation than we had booked. Instead of the romantic accomodatinon in the areal of the former cloister we had to sleep in the room for old people that can hardly any move. There were even the special antiurinate sheets on the beds!That's why we were really disappointed from this accomodation.

Bellissimo e nuovo ostello ricavato in un ex convento. Molto pulito, camere bellissime, staff preparato e simpatico.

Convento recentemente rinnovato con chiostro magnifico, nella zona dell'ospedale di Volterra. Vicino alle mura del paese: in centro in 20 minuti a piedi. Fantastica struttura per famiglie: siamo stati in camera da sei benissimo.

Nice and modern hostel just outside the city and close to the motorway. Very modern and clean bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Free and safe parking next to hostel.

Unfortunately no (free) Wi-Fi. Reception is closed between 12-16h.

buen sitio para alojarse en Volterra, eso si... solo para alojarse pq esta a las afueras del pueblo.

Solo diria una cosa en contra... nosotros fuimos en agosto, y no tenia aire acondicionado, pero no pasamos calor

This hostel was a pleasant surprise. It's was the cleanest hostel (outside of Switzerland) that I've ever stayed in, and everything was new and functional, including the massive lockers. I broke my rule of not having breakfast in hostels, and while the breakfast was nothing to write home about, I enjoyed the old fresco in the breakfast room. The hostel is a bit of a walk from the town centre, and you have to negotiate roads without pavements to get there. Finding the hostel was a bit of a pain, and there weren't any taxis in the middle of the day. The bus service is rather infrequent and counterintuitive, so you have to be lucky. However, if you find a good map, it's close enough to walk from the main bus station, and it's all downhill. It was in a quiet location once you got your luggage there, and only 15 minutes walk up to the centre via the stairs. Best of all it's very reasonably priced and I would definitely stay there again.

When you want to return to the same place, it's the best recommendation. We will be seen again!

Ciao, il albergo in generale ci a molto piacutto, il edifizio è molto bello e il staff sono gente molto simpatica e attenta.

Unicamente la posizione dove si trova e un po confusa per arrivare la prima volta perche non c'e un cartelo.

ottima posizione, molto pulito, molto pittoresco, staff gentile e disponibile, buona informazione riguardante cita, trasporti ecc. l’unico difetto che è difficile trovare ostello se uno arriva in macchina perché a Volterra mancano le indicazioni

It's a wonderful place to relax. It's very quiet, clean and beautiful. It's not very close to the center but there are buses to go to the village.
