Langkawi is an archipelago of 99 islands in the Andaman Sea , South of Thailand, 30km off the mainland coast of peninsular Malaysia. The islands are part of the state of Kedah and adjacent to the Thai border. Langkawi is a duty free island and offers natural attraction unsurpassed by any other in the region.
