Murray Library Hostel

From being a library and a snooker hall with two billiard tables, to hosting a youth hostel!

The Murray Library provides clean and secure backpacker accommodation in Anstruther; it is housed in a fully restored, red bricked building with sea view.

This beach hostel provides a wide choice of rooms; with a total of 7 rooms, guest can choose among 2 double rooms and 4 to 6-bed dorms Shared bathrooms are available on each floor.

Common areas include a living room with sofas and a fully equipped kitchen. WiFi is free of charge for all guests.

If you arrive a day late without informing the hostel, we will try and find you a bed, but this may not be in the same room type booked and may incur extra charges.

No underage person unless they are accompanied by an adult over 18.

When booking dorm beds in dorm rooms, we cannot guarantee that you will all be staying in the same room.
