About us
Jembjo's is Knysna's newest boutique Backpacker. Established in 2012 by Karl & Mandy, avid ex-travellers whose backgrounds are in travel & tourism in Africa. Jembjo's prides itself on making guests feel at home. The establishment is a transformed house so is chic & cosy with a real 'family' feel. Mandy, Karl & Jaime will wamly welcome you & ensure you relax & enjoy your stay in Knysna.

Accommodation
There are 6 private rooms & 1 dormitory at Jembjo's.
The dormitory room is split into 4 beds & 10 beds respectively. Some are single beds, some are bunk beds, all beds have a lock box for valuables. The dormitory has its own communal bathroom facilities.
3 multi-purpose standard rooms that can be used as single, double/twin, triple or family rooms all with use of communal bathroom facilities.
2 double/twin en-suite rooms with private bathroom in each.
1 x deluxe family en-suite

Services and activities
Jembjo's has a communal lounge/tv room with full DSTV & free wi-fi available. There is also a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for communal use & an outdoor communal bbq/braai area & courtyard.
Jembjo's rates include a complimentary self-service breakfast & unlimited free tea/coffee throughout your stay.
Jembjo's offers a laundry service.
We have bicycles for hire & an activities desk to book & plan tours, trips & itineraries for our guests.
We have secure off-road parking.

Jembjo's is perfectly located.
The Knysna Waterfront, lagoon & bustling little town are all just a few minutes walk away, as is the bus station, where we will happily arrange a pick-up.
The huge array of restaurants, bars/pubs & clubs are all within minutes walking distance.
We provide you with a map of town on your arrival & you will quickly discover how easy & safe it is to navigate our delightful town.
