About us
Galileo Galilei is a Student Residence and hostel located right in the middle of the University Center of Valencia, within the Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and in front of the University of Valencia, and next to the sports area of both Universities. Galileo Galilei is very well connected in terms of public transport. The city centre can be easily reached by bus or metro in 10 minutes (25 minutes on foot) or go to the beach, which is only 5 minutes away by metro (15 minutes on foot).

accommodation
The rooms of the Galileo Galilei Residence Hall are decorated in a unique style, with colourful furniture and murals. All rooms have a seating area, as well as a work area. Children under 12 years free using existing beds. The property offers single, double and triple rooms.


Services and activities
The Galileo Galilei residence, next to the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Tarongers metro station, offers good-priced, spacious accommodation, with a fitness center. All rooms have Wi-Fi connection and a private bathroom.


Surroundings
The city center can be easily reached by bus or metro in 10 minutes (25 minutes on foot) or reach the beach, which is only 5 minutes away by metro (15 minutes on foot). In the same campus of the University, you will find shops, bars and supermarkets.

Youth hostel
Accommodation is only for:
* Guests under 30 years of age.
* Groups of children accompanied by parents or guardians
* Over 30 years that have the "Carnet de Alberguista"
* University professors

This hall of residence is open to the university community during the whole year. That includes students, teachers, investigators, administrative personnel, etc.
Plus, it operates as youth hostel, being a member of the Valencian Network of Youth Hostels (REVAJ), the Spanish Network of Youth Hostels (REAJ) and the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF), currently known as Hostelling International (HI).
In case of not being part of the education or university community, to provide the REAJ youth hostel card or any other certificate validated by that association or HI, will be requested at your arrival.
