The BCC was constructed on the bottom of the ridge leading to the small fishing village of Kaole, home of the famous Ruins.
The hotel cascades down a slope with the 10 comfortable rooms on the highest level to the swimming pool and restaurant area on the beach front. There is a unique view of the Zanzibar Channel all the way to Lazy Lagoon Peninsular and across the bay to the mangrove forests at Livingstone Village.
This family run business was built up with a love of the never ending views, nature in its entirety, peace and quiet, a respect for the local culture and a desire to be different.If you are looking for shops, discos and nightlife – then this is not for you. We pride ourselves in trying to be as close to a home from home as we can with individual selected but small homemade menus, home cooked breakfasts,freshly baked breads and an extensive knowledge of the area to assist you in having an interesting stay in Bagamoyo and it s surroundings.
Our rooms are air conditioned and comfortable and intended primarily to reflect the beauty of the surroundings and not to pander to modern technology. A more beautiful way to get from you bedroom to the beach does not exist. Our makuti style boma is large and open taking advantage of the cool sea breeze. The swimming pool is a step away from the beach so at low tide you can still enjoy a refreshing swim. On offer is a range of snorkeling equipment and trips can be arranged to local islands and sandbanks. Arrangements will be made by the staff and owners.
