About us

We are both from the Valais (South part of Switzerland), happy parents of three adult sons. We worked as a nurse and veterinarian in Bern during 30 years and have always pursued our passions: travelling, massages and cuisine.

We dreamed about a different stressless life in a warmer climate. In Zanzibar, we realised this dream. In love with that island, we decided to share our passion with you.

Accommodation
We have 5 bungalows: All our bungalows are no-smoking.
3 Deluxe bungalows (62 m2) accomodated with a king-size bed, chairs, table, sofa, cupboard, celling fans, many windows and lights, en-suite bathroom, private terrasse and gallery, tiled floors, carpets.
We can add on request 1 single bed for an adult or 1 to 2 single beds for children.

Services and activities
The swimming-pool (11m/7m/2m), the private beach (2000 m2) the fitness room (exercise engine, weights from 2 to 20 kg), huge games on the site: chess, mill, petanque, mini-golf. Outdoor cinema on the private beach, library with books in French, german and English. Massage and magnetfield therapy available. Medical service on the site. Cooking courses, swimming courses. Surroundings
Only one hotel in the neighbourhood (300 m). Forest on the right sight, nothing on the left sight, sea at the front, our house at the back.
To get downtown, you need a driver (70 km)

Why should you stay with us
The quietness is unique in this part of the Island. You come here to relax and take care of yourself. The people of Makunduchi work at the beach on coconuts, sea weeds and fish.
The property is huge and you get a lot of private space.
All bungalows are made from the local materials with makuti huts, wood and terrazo floors. All the furniture is local. Each bungalow is different in shape, colour and furniture
Cleaness is our priority on all the site.
