Our ¨House¨, the Hostal Abasto, is located in an area also called ¨The Abasto¨, one of Buenos Aires’ most traditional neighborhoods. It is the historic home of the Tango, and is where one of Argentina’s most illustrious artists, the great Carlos Gardel, lived and sang. It is also very conveniently located for getting around town, given that most of the major points of interest are all easily reached, including: Palermo, Retiro, San Telmo, La Boca, etc. A subway station 'Subte Linea B Estacion Carlos Gardel' is only 20 meters from the Hostal’s main entrance, and numerous bus lines also pass nearby, further providing access to all parts of the city.
