It's dirty, homeless people are sitting in front of the hostel if you go outside. We were 3 persons and it wasn't possible that we sleep in the same room for 3 nights, although our room was booked. In the public kitchen were just one spoon, two knifes and two plates for the whole hostel. The water from the shower was cold. Overall for 30 Euros a night it's absolutely overprized. If you appreciate a clean, cheerful atmosphere you are on the wrong place. I would defenetly never go back to that grotty hostel again.

The Hotel is good,clean and in a very good position,near Notre Dame,ten minutes walk from the Promenade de Anglais or the old town.

A hotel jó helyen van a Gare Thiers villamosmegálló közelében, a tengerhez gyalog is le lehet menni gyalog, de azért nincs közel. A személyzet kedves volt, segítőkész. Kispárnát párnahuzattal és lepedőt kaptunk, takarót, ahogy írták is, nem adnak. 2 WC van az összes szobára, én ebből egyet láttam rögtön a bejáratnál, ennek ellenére be lehetett jutni. 6 fős szobában laktunk. Az emeletes ágyak között egy kis folyosó van, nagyon szűkösen lehet elférni, a táskáknak alig van hely. A szobához tartozik egy zuhanyzó és egy mosdó egyben. Rendesen takarítják, de alig lehet benne elférni benne. A tisztaság teljesen rendben volt. Zárható szekrényt nem láttam. Mindenki a szobában tartotta a pénzét, laptopját, nem tűnt el semmi, de gondolom ez vendégfüggő. Az egy konnektorért gyilkos harc folyt, jól jött volna egy elosztó.A hangulat is vendégfüggő, volt aki éjjel kettőkor részegen ordítva jött a szobába, és még ott is ordítozott egy darabig.

The location was good, the walk from the railway station was short and the walk to the beach was not bad either. The staff spoke good english and was very friendly. Payment only in cash. The wifi didn't work in the rooms, or at least not in our room and barely in the reception.

This is the most most most worst hostel that I had ever stayed. The hostel owner is so mean and very impolite!! There are so many extra charges that you need to pay: sheet and blanket are not provided, and if you want them, you have to pay extra money; if you want to leave your baggage in the hostel after checking out, you also have to pay extra money for it. The environment is very bad: the room I stayed in was so dirty and all the beds are so old. You have to sleep in a very noisy surrounding every night because there are so many people on the street making very loud noise every night. 12 rooms with 6 beds each need to share 2 toilets only and there is NO tap in the toilet, so you have to wash your hand in your room after using the toilet. Even though you have made a reservation and received a confirmation email, if the owner say he didn't receive your booking, you maybe asked to pay for 100% of your hostel fee but not less than 100% (you should pay a proportion when making reservation). What a so mean hostel owner!!!

No major complaints about this place, great location, literally a ten minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and clubs. Place was clean, staff were relatively friendly. Would recommend it.

sehr, sehr schlecht- mieserabel.. staubige Zimmer, nach Kanalisation stinkendes Bad, blutige Matratze, keine Seife, Handtücher und Bettlaken muss man zahlen, es hat keine Bettwäsche,es gibt auch keine Nachtruhe, es liegt im Slumviertel....

rapporto qualità prezzo molto onesto. lo staff ha fatto l'eccezione di aspettarci dopo l'orario specificato del check in, anche se non gli è stato molto gradito, comunque con ragione (ci siamo persi perché eravamo in macchina senza gps e non è stato facile trovare l'indirizzo). la entrata/porta del palazzo non è la più bella, il che fa un po impressione all'inizio, tuttavia la camera è fatta diversamente.

Clean hostel with nice people working there but I recomend toliets in rooms.

It's located very near the main tourists street. It wasnt very clean and you have to pay for towels and sheets. And I didnt felt very secure with the strange neighboors always shooting...

Not that many residents but pretty clean and the location was ok, 15min walk to the beach and 2min to the mainstreet. No breakfast though.

This hostel was so crappy, one of the worst ive been in. Its located in a very dodgy, smelly area. The staff wont let you wake them up after 11pm so no late check ins, or you are charged 50 euros. That makes it really inconvienient. We had to share disgusting toilets with half the hostel. No computers or breakfast or anything extra included in the price. VERY BAD PLACE. The only thing that made my stay in Nice was the great people I met at the hostel.

I reserved a dormitory bed in four people room. But the staff in ALTAIR gave me a portable and tiny bed in the room for six people. The portable bed was so dirty and small that I could not help leave the hostel. The staff was so rude and impolite. Never never stay at this hostel. This was the worst hostel that I have ever stayed in my life.

古いビル２階部分。ボロさは否めないが、内部はそれに比べるとドアのペンキや浴室も最近改装したのか割と小奇麗な印象。ユースにしたら普通なレベルかなと。お湯切れは22時には起こっていた
。場所は教会の向い。駅からも近く、街のメイン通りにも近く便利！だが、夜は賑やか。またビル前に柄の悪い人が多少たむろっていた（ビルの1階に住んでいるらしい）ので驚いたが、悪さはしない模様。スタッフは特に愛想がいいわけでもないが、聞けば教えてくれる。観光資料は特にない。皆が集まれるような広いスペースはなさそう。また、鍵の保証金で３０ユーロ別に必要。（後で戻る）すべて現金支払なので注意。

We had a very nice time in Altair Hostel, but I think it was mostly because of the people we met there than because of the character of the hostel. Well situated though and pretty clean. You have to bring your own sheets, otherwise you have to pay for it. Pretty good but pretty expensive also.

The hostel is only 10 minutes far from the sea and from Old Nice.
It is in the square of the church of Notre Dame: in my case it is perfect because it is very near to my french school (Sprachcaffe)!
Cleaness is to improve, the staff is serious, but does not have much personality.

Ganska tråkigt hostel och tamburen luktar piss. Men hostelet är inget mer än en säng och toalett. Killen som jobbar där och hans hund är söta. Men de ligger bra till vid den stora gamla kyrkan och nära till tågstationen.
