About us
Our mission is to provide travellers with value for money accommodation in peaceful setting while respecting the environment (our property operates in line with strict environmental standards set by Hostelling International Iceland).
Accommodation
There are 9 rooms in the property: One mixed dormitory, double and triple rooms and family rooms for five and six. There are also two self-contained cottages that can sleep four and five. There are 4 WC's and 3 showers and geothermal hot tub with view over the fjord. Linen and towels included and guests have access to a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen.

Geothermal hot tub with view over the fjord. Guests have access to a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. No breakfast service. Free internet. This is a place to enjoy peace and quiet. Next door is the local history museum that our guests enjoy visiting.
Surroundings
Our place is located in a scenic spot which can best be described as the 'middle of nowhere'. Guests come to us to enjoy scenic walks along the shore for bird and seal watching or just to relax.
