Nice rooms in a quiet area. No air condition or mosquito nets in the windows. The only problem was that my bed had bed bugs.

Ambienti sporchi e pulizia mai eseguita, neanche su sollecitazione, ospiti lasciati liberi di disturbare gli altri clienti anche a tarda ora. Una croce sopra!

This place is wonderful. The staff spoke english well enough and it is a good price. The only thing is it said towels were included, but they did not have any. would definitely come stay here again.

Bastante bueno por su relativo bajo costo (en relacion a otros hostales), las habitaciones son bastante amplias con 2 camas, dos escritorios y un baño privado. Los muebles para guardar no tienen llave.
Con respecto a los espacios comunes, son buenos pero no estan equipados, si uno quiere usar las instalaciones de cocina tiene que pagar extra.
Deberian señalar en la pagina ademas cuanto cobran por los impuestos al turista, que no van incluidos en el precio.
Pero dentro de todo, es bastante bueno. recomendado

Lage in Venedig ist gut, freundliches Personal, sehr guenstig. Leider war es sehr heiss und es gab ein Stechmueckenproblem als wir dort waren, aber das hat ja nicht unbedingt etwas mit der Unterkunft zu tun.

Das Hostel hat eine super Lage. Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet, aber schön groß. Es wäre hilfreich, wenn der Portier Wechselgeld für die Getränkeautomaten hat.

Die Zimmer sind zum schlafen völlig ausreichend und für den Preis in Ordnung. Teilweise war unser Zimmer schon etwas herunter gekommen. (Loch im Vorhang im Badezimmer, zu kleiner Duschvorhang oder Schlösser der Schränke kaputt) Es gibt keine Klimaanlagen in der Zimmern, sodass es Nachts ziemlich heiß ist. Ansonsten waren die Leute aber freundlich, das Hostel ist vom Bahnhof/Bus gut und schnell zu erreichen und man erreicht schnell die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ich kann das Hostel an alle weiter empfehlen, die einen Platz zum schlafen suchen und sich dort nicht großartig Tagsüber aufhalten wollen. Dann liegt man mit diesem Hostel denke ich ziemlich gut :)

The bathroom and toilet were disgusting and had a horrible smell. Bathroom floors and shower were dirty. It says it has kitchen facilities but customers aren't allowed to use them. Wifi has been down for 'a while'. Walk from station is not 6 Mins, more like 20 mins. Bad place, don't recommend!

Empezando xq la dirección es poco clara, llegamos y ni siquiera habían sábanas ni paños. Mala atención de las personas a cargo y sin internet aunq se ofrece. No recomendado.

The hostel is in the north of Venice and pretty easy to access from the Canal Grande. The staff was friendly and had some good tips for spending the stay. However, our room looked like the housekeeping didn't spend more than a minute to clean up, the bathroom and the floor of our 2 bed room were not really enjoyable.

Difficult to find as behind the large church and following the street numbers is confusing. However once there it is great and very convenient to everything.

If you are a first timer in the city - you won't find there in 8 minutes. Well maybe if you are fast with your feet and luggages + know how to read the map. Those streets, bridges and canals are kinda confusing. Remember to get a MAP!
WiFi didn't work at my three days visit to Abazia, not once.
The room (1person/private) was OK but kinda filthy. Dusty, moldy shower curtain, ants, moskitos and last but not least: blueish, moldy fungus, sea weedish thing on shower hose (in that part which flows the water). It was disgusting.
Very plain, NOTHING TO DO, but to sleep and do laundry by hand in my room. No computers/internet on the common rooms. Common rooms.
Something positive about this place: position equals peace & quiet + not that much those loud American teenagers (sorry, don't wanna generalise).

We had a great three days with "shlip shlips" of the water in a room with a lovely canal view. The room was clean and tidy. Don't know if it'd be hot during summer since it has no airco but for the warmth of september, can say it was cool. Not easy to find the place. They must describe more briefly. To be in a very central and quiet location is not something easily found in Venice. Walked to the train station with backpacks with my girlfriend in 15 minutes in the morning for our departure.

位置在主岛最边上，最近的船站也要走近10分钟，本来以为这么偏的位置会比较安静，可是那整栋房子放佛是纸糊的，一点儿不隔音，水路上也传来噪杂的声音。原本定了双人间，可check in 时说房间有问题，调整为2个单人间，这也罢了，最后睡觉时却发现其中一个房间内没有毯子，只有被单，找工作人员要，居然说没有，还说什么并不冷之类的...卫生间内风筒是坏的。总之，这是一个没发现什么优点的地方。

It is a bit difficult to find because the numbers on the street continue to go up when you turn the corner, and we didn't know that. It is really more like a 25 minute walk from the train station. Staff was nice and friendly. The room was very nice with two beds and a nice private bathroom. One mattress was excellent and one was pretty bad. There is no air conditioning, but the climate is cooler than Rome and we were really fine without it. The locks on the doors don't seem to be the most secure, and we handed the key in at reception every time we left the hostel. All in all, I would certainly recommend this place and will use again.

Me and my friend stayed there for 2 nights. Altough hostel staff could not find the reservation we were lodged fast. The room, private ensuite, was quite big and clean as well as bathroom. The only thing bothered is that the room was not cleaned every day.
Hostel is situated really close to the city center. For us it took 20 min on foot to get to the main square.
Taking into account prices of Venice hotels, "Hostel Abazia" is a really nice place to sleep for those who is searching for budget accomodation!

Excellent endroit pour demeurer dans Venise. Tout se fait facilement à pied, les chambres sont d'un confort honnête. À recommander pour un hébergement pas cher dans l'île.

Destul de bine situat. Aproximativ 5 minute pana in centru, cam 15-20 min de gara. Nu foare curat, este de fapt un camin de studenti, iar pe vara il folosesc ca si hostel

It's a dorm, university.
In a very obscure part of town.
But the rooms are clean, somewhat isolated from everyone else.
Staff does speak some english, but don't expect a conversation.
Oh yeah, and the showers aren't that great.

On a adoré! Ça permet de découvrir un peu Venise sans le gag touristique qu'il y a sinon partout ailleurs(même surement dans les gros hotel...). C'est très calme, ne donne pas sur l'eau donc pas de bruit de moteur le matin très tôt, éboueurs... ;-)
PS repérez bien où l'hotel est situé car les vénitiens ont une conceptions déconcertante de la numérotation des rues, mieux, repérez caremment sur le plan, ça vous évitera de chercher toute l'aprem....

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at! My room faced a canal and had a great view. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood which isn't super touristy, but it's easy to get to the sights.

va bene solo per passare una notte. La pulizia lascia un po' a desiderare, non ci sono coprimaterassi, gli asciugamani sono uno per persona e sono piccolissimi, c'era polvere sui mobili.Per 26 euro a persona mi è sembrato un po' eccessivo.

5 de Septiembre 2008, me parecio un excelente hostal, la gente que atiende super amable y agradable, la habitación con baño incluido super bien, la limpieza muy bien, en cuanto a la hubicación puedes llegar camimando a la plaza de san marcos y otros sitios sin problemas, el precio para ser venecia me parecion muy economico, lo que si recomendaria es una mejor explicación de como llegar al hostal, si volviera a ir tengan por seguro que me hospedaria nuevamente ahi, me la pase super bien en venecia, gracias a todos y saludos.

Great little place, my reservation said it would be a shared bathroom, and to my surprise, we had our own private bathroom!
Staff doesn't speak much english, but enough to get by.
There was a bit of miss-communication and they couldn't find our booking at first, but it all worked out.
great location! it is nice to actually stay in venice and not a train trip out.

Eravamo due coppie di ragazzi, quindi è stata un'ottima sistemazione rispetto ai costi elevati che ci sono a Venezia.
Ogni camera ha il suo bagno, la portineria è sempre aperta quindi non c'è orario di rientro, il persdonale è gentilissimo.
