Groven Travellers' Home is an excellent place to stay if you're looking for the real traditional Malaccan living style and traditional village type of housing, yet with all the modern amenities (with the exception of the air-conditioner). Groven offers affordable accommodation and free Wi-Fi within a natural traditional Chinese Malaccan wooden house.
The rooms are not equipped with air conditioners but though the night was not warm and the ceiling fan running at full blast made up for the heat. Shared bathroom and toilet is provided. Rooms are simply decorated with wooden furnishings and clean white sheets and towels.
Besides that, one of the bathroom are using the shower water from the underground well, it will feel refreshing!
Guest may watch TV at the communal lounge area or rent a bicycle to explore the world heritage city of Malacca. A shared kitchen area is available, equipped with a microwave and fridge. Light meals can be prepared there and enjoyed at the dining table. Groven also provides a barbecue area, as well as laundry services.

It is within walking distance to most of the sights; Attractions like Porta de Santiago Fort, St. Paul’s Church, and Dataran Pahlawan Megamall are a 5-minute walking distance from the guesthouse. Another 10 minute to walking toward to the Jonker's Street and Portuguese Square.
