From Cancún, Tulum and the Airport of Cancún:
By Bus: Take ADO Bus to Playa del Carmen.

Once outside the bus station in Playa del Carmen, walk towards the left by the 5th Avenue 1 block until the 2nd Street.
Then turn to the Left and cross 4 streets until you pass the 25th Avenue and see the Hostel Vive La Vida.
