About us
We are a Norwegian - German couple who love agriculture and animals, want to live healthy and don't like to be bored.
Our farm is not only an idea, but an attitude towards life. We're inspired from the idea of permaculture, and try to realize this under Norwegian conditions. This means to run a self-sufficient farming combined with sustainable Tourism - ecologically sustainable in the long run, economically feasible as well as ethically and socially fair.

Accommodation
We offer 2 private guesthouses with private bathroom/WC and fully equipped kitchenette.
Furthermore we have a dorm with 10 beds and shared bathroom/ WC.
There is free WIFI in every room.
We also have an autark glamping hut located at the nearby Grana River and two autark huts in the mountains.
Services and activities
A fire place invites you to barbecue and camp fire, a tree house offers plenty of space for small adventurers, numerous hammocks invite you to relax. Bicycles, rowing boats and fishing gear can be rented for a small fee.
For animal lovers there are cattle with many sweet calves and sheep with lambs to be seen on our farm. If you like, we’ll give you guided farm tour for a small fee. Otherwise, you may hike on your own, just mind the electric fences.

Surroundings
A short hike from the farm brings you to the shore of the lake Snåsavatnet, where a long sandy beach and shallow water invites you to dive in for a swim or just to play in the water.
As well as the lake and the nearby Grana river, only few kilometers away is the Jørstadelva river, which is known for its big trout. In the Namsen and Sanddøla rivers there’s good salmon fishing. There are also big national parks in the area, as well as a zoo with Nordic animals in Namsskogan, only one hour drive
