I didn't saty at the pensão Royal. I arrived one day before and went there to check the place. Lots of stairs, impossible for my age everyday have to use so many stairs. A nice and educated girl showed me the bedroom. Too tiny, so lost one day payment reservation but prefered to cancel.

Localização ótima, bem próximo a estação do metrô Baixo Chiado.Não recomendado para pessoas idosas, pois fica no 3º andar de um prédio antigo, sem elevador.

Paula, a hostess, foi extremamente atenciosa, dando numerosas sugestões de passeios. Ambiente limpo e tranquilo, café da manhã muito gostoso e variado. Os três lances de escada podem ser desanimadores se você estiver carregando malas pesadas. Recomendo totalmente o lugar.

La doppia con bagno è carinissima, la struttura è in centrissimo, davvero comoda a un passo dal Barrio Alto. Lo staff è favoloso e la colazione spaziale: almeno 3 torte ogni mattina, frutta fresca, pasticcini, salumi, formaggi, frittate...insomma eccezionale. Decisamente consigliato. Unica pecca le scale che dopo una giornata di visita sfrenata sembrano non finire mai!

If you want to desire Lisboa,this hostel will be perfect for you. The location of the hostel is top, the nearest metro station is just a few steps away. Paula is GREAT, she is there 24/7 and takes very good care of her guests. Every day she prepares a brilliant breakfast in her cute kitchen. Thumbs up!!!

Pension très bien située. Excellent rapport qualité prix.Accueil chaleureux.Bâtiment ancien mais propreté de rigueur . Déjeuner princier .Je recommande sans aucun doute mais ne vous attendez pas à du luxueux.Merci Mme Paula

La ubicacion es perfecta cerquisima del elevador de Santa justo y al lado de la estacion del metro de Baixa Chiado. Es un tercer piso sin ascensor pero solo por el desayuno vale la pena .... la verdad es que es de agradecer la manera en que lo preparan.... totalmente recomendable.

Um lugar maravilhoso. Bem no centro da cidade. O quarto é pequeno, porém confortável. Todo dia é limpo o quarto e são trocadas as toalhas. Um café da manhã diversificado e cheio de personalidade. O atendimento é simplesmente perfeito. A Paula nos ajudou em tudo e foi muito amiga e divertida. Adoramos conhecê-la. A única coisa mais ou menos é o fato de não ter elevador. Mas não atrapalha a estadia. Eu recomendo muito.

Muy bien en limpieza, la situación y la buena disposición de Paula, siempre dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos y los impresionantes desayunos que nos preparaba. No me gusto que hubiese que pagar a la llegada la totalidad de la reserva (7 días) en metálico (decía que no le funcionaba la maquina de la tarjetas de crédito). Había falta de mantenimiento en nuestra habitación (nº 4), el portarollo de papel higiénico estaba roto, faltaba un palmo para cerrar la mampara de la ducha, y sobre todo el colchón de la cama de la izquierda necesita un cambio urgente, estaba totalmente hundido en el centro.

Well located, very very clean, huge breakfast, nice service on location. But be CAREFUL if you don't want to pay twice(credit card - the machine seemed not working but in the end it worked! - and cash) like us and NEVER get reimbursed.

100% espectacular. La mujer que lo maneja, Paula es una persona increíble y encantadora. Ella mantiene todo limpio, hermoso y con aroma a pastel de belem. El desayuno, definitivamente, no encontrarás uno mejor en ninguna parte del mundo. Y ademas, Paula te ayuda en tu recorrido por Lisboa! Una genio!

We had a great time at warm, welcoming Pensao Royal. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculate and Paula, the hostess is absolutely charming.
The breakfast is AMAZING with all kinds of juices, pastries, cereal.... everything delicious!

das frühstück war wirklich sehr vielfältig mit toast, verschiedenen kuchen, müsli, früchten, tee, kaffee, saft...
da wir im februar leider bei regen gehaust haben, war die luft im zimmer ein wenig kühl und feucht. die heizung hat zwar eingeheizt, aber zwischendurch immerwieder auf kühles gebläse umgestellt...das zimmer war hell, großräumig, sauber und schön. eigentlich schon beinahe hotel (statt hostel) standard.
ansonsten ist es ein wirklich sehr familiär und liebevoll, bemühter betrieb. lage, personal, frühstück waren top!

la situación de la pensión no puede ser mejor!! estas en el centro y te puedes desplazar sin necesidad de coger transporte! el ambiente dentro es genial!! Paola increible...cuida hasta el más mínimo detalle!! es la mami de todos los que estamos ahí hospedados! Recomendable 100%..sin duda si vuelvo será allí!

We were here in this guest house for two nights....for me and my boyfriend was a good experience:the room are very nice and more cleaned, the staff was amazing with excellent breakfast. the position of this pleace is excellent if you want walk and visit the centre of lisbona!

Muy bien ubicado, un trato excelente, Paula es encantadora, super pendiente de todo y siempre dispuesta a ayudarte y proponerte una ruta por la ciudad. Te hace sentir como en casa.
Además hace unos desayunos increíbles!.
Un lugar acogedor, limpio. Muy buena relación calidad/precio.
Muy recomendable.
Si volvemos a Lisboa sin duda nos quedaremoa allí.

La Pensión es un EXCELENTE lugar para pasar unos días en Lisboa. Paola y Juan son muy buenos anfitriones y te hacen sentir como en casa. Además, el desayuno ni Willy Wonka debe preparar cosas tan ricas. Es limpio y está en una buena ubicación. COMPLETAMENTE RECOMENDABLE.

Pensao Royal is one of the most charming place we ever visited. We strongly encourage to spend some time there, since the owners are interesting and very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is superb. The position of the house is central, so that you can reach all the spots by walking. SArin and Lavinia.

Located in town centre, close to the Baxia-Chiado metro station. Connection to airport by 44,745 and aerobus. Wonderfull breakfasts :-) The only problem is to carry your bags to the 3rd floor. No elevator.

This is probably the best hostel i know.Paola knows where to go in Lissabon and is working her ass off for her guests:she´s cleaning and cooking all day just to make everything perfect!The rooms are really cute and clean and are perfect for tourists.The breakfast is unbelievable good with only selfmade cakes and fruit salads, and simply everything you want to find on your breakfast table!It is located direct at the center and perfect for every trip you can imagine in the region of Lissabon.So if you`re in Lissabon and you want to have a beautiful,interesting and amusing holiday you must go to the pensao royal!!!You won`t find a better one!

Non particolarmente pulito, struttura un po' vecchiotta anche se le camere sono spaziose (non si può dire lo stesso dei bagni). In confronto agli altri posti in cui ho pernottato, non c'è un buon rapporto qualità - prezzo. Unica nota positiva la colazione particolarmente abbondante e varia. Non ci tornerei.

If you're searching for a place to stay in lisbon where you could feel at home the Pensao Royal is what you're looking for.The staff is incredible friendly and helpful.Pensao Royal is excellently located near the metro and short walk into the centre.Amazing, delicious, incredible breakfast. Paula's sweets are unforgettable.The dorm rooms are very roomy, confortable and really clean.I recommmend it 100 percent.A big thank you to Juan, Paula and Virginia. They are great team.

Excellent and friendly staff.
Paula's and the breakfast are unforgettable.
The hotel is on the 3° floor and there is no lift.
Some rooms lack air condicioned.
We raccomend this to everyone.
