About us
Montevideo Chic is designed for those travellers who enjoy the friendly and informal atmosphere of a hostel, but without compromising on comfort, privacy and quality.

We aim to provide clean, well kept accommodation, great service, in a central location, at an affordable price. Here you will find: large rooms with quality beds & furniture, Modern, well equipped shared bathrooms, Spacious common areas, and more.

Accommodation
We have a total of 14 spacious rooms, offering private and shared accommodation. All rooms have good quality beds, and linen and towels are included.

Services and activities
The shared areas are very generous: kitchen, dining and living areas, a large sun terrace with views over the bay and barbeque.

Surroundings
Montevideo Chic Hostel is only 3 blocks from Plaza Matriz, the heart of Montevideo, with its Cathedral and Cabildo (its colonial Government House). Most sights are on your doorstep!

The area

This part of Montevideo, known as Ciudad Vieja (the Old Town) is home to nearly all its historic buildings, museums and sights. It also offers a wealth of bars, restaurants, night clubs, art galleries, shops and more - and, of course, Uruguay's most important theatre, Teatro Solís.

 

 

Terms and conditions

All rooms are fully prepaid and not refundable.
Reception: please notify us of your arrival time to ensure staff is there to receive you. After check-in you will receive keys for 24hs access.

Late Check-out and early Check-in (before 14:00) are possible with additional charge of 10USD per person.

Payment is required on arrival, in cash. We accept USD, or the equivalent amount in Uruguayan Pesos (the day's USD purchase rate will apply)
