The Safehouse Hostel is one of Cardiff's amazing hostels for backpackers and international travelers.

Guests will find an extremely chilled out atmosphere, relaxed yet luxurious. Staff is friendly, and helpful.

Rooms are spacious, and have bunk beds, made like cubby holes with comfortable beds. Each bed comes with 2 fluffy pillows for extra comfort. Each bed comes with 2 USB ports to charge electronics without needing an adapter.

Bathrooms can be found on each floor and they have a separate toilet and shower rooms.

There are several communal area at The Safehouse: a seating area with tables and chairs, where free breakfast (with toast and cereal) is available. On the second floor, there is a communal lounge with Sherlock Holmes-brown-leather-type theme.

This hostel is located ridiculously close to the Cardiff Castle and Bute Park, within a short 10-min walk to the nightlife area, full of bars, and anything you might need shopping wise, including supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants.
