Casa Azul

Pleasant stay. Everything was clean, nice personnel, everything worked. Only thing we missed was a nice place to chill somewhere outside, but the landlord was working on a roof terrace. That one will come soon. I can recommend the sandwiches for on the go!

Prachtig oud huis met prima kamer. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk, spreken nagenoeg geen Engels. Casa ligt heel dichtbij de hoofdstraat van Baracoa. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed.

Centraal gelegen casa. We hadden een kamer met wat minder daglicht en ontbijt was ook binnen. Maar zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, en er stond vaak een streepje muziek op.

Nice Casa, nice people, breakfast was a bit too little for the price of 4 cuc.

A beautiful colonial house at the centre of Baracoa of walking distance to the malecon, Viazul, city centre and the fortress. Great service, friendly people and the room was very nice and clean.

It's hard to difficult about Baracoa. There is a lot of damage due to the recent hurricane, which is really sad for the locals. Because of the damage, we shortened our pre-booked stay from three to one night. However the owner was dissapointed, we did pay for one night. He doesn't speak English, car parking cost 2 CUC per night.

Very nice and clean casa, the owner of the casa welcomed us with a fruitcocktail . It's a pity he did't speak english. Breakfast was good and diner also very Nice. Very good casa in a nice village. In the centre of baracoa.

Baracoa wat een leuk dorpje, zeker een aanrader om heen te gaan als naar Cuba gaat, deze casa ligt op een perfecte plek en alles is op loopafstand te doen. Ruime kamer met airco en waaier, lekker ontbijt alleen spreken ze hier bijna geen Engels, verder een heel fijn verblijf gehad hier!

Good location, near Malecon and citycenter of Baracoa, 5 min. either way. Nice owners, big breakfast. Clean, good bed and shower. Parkingfee was 2cuc p.night.

We had a GREAT time in Casa Azul. Wonderful people, nice room and excellent location.

mi recomendacion es que ante cualquier consulta o duda vayan primero a infotur.tengan mucho cuidado con los taxistas. traten de negociar en forma personal en la plaza central con personas que les inspiren confianza. traten de evitar intermediarios y acuerden bien condiciones del viaje y precio.si pueden viajar con via azul, mejor o utilicen los transfer de transtur o transgaviota si es que los hay. y si tienen ganas de colaborar con la gente lleven ropa y lapiceras, porque hay gente que las necesita, sobre todo en la bahia de mata (vendedores ambulantes de artesania y chocolate).

Not able to give true opinion as when we phoned 48 hrs before as asked to confirm were told they did not have the pre booked room for us.A below average response so we assume the accommodation was probably below average as well.Did find an excellent replacement in Terraza Y Jardin so did us a favour

The casa is situated close to the towns center and the Malecón.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good and the owner is quite helpful and speaks good English.

It's a nice and clean Casa in town center, the owners are friendly and speak English well with taste of fine arts. The breakfast is good with many fruits. it quite matches the characters of the small town.

This Casa was definitely the best on our three weeks trip through Cuba. Excellent and helpful hosts who speaks a very good English and are outstanding cooks. Even there's no own parking lot, we were able to park our car right next to the house where a neighbour was keeping an eye on it over night. The room is cozy and very clean. Lovely town, good location, great price. Highly recommended!

Very nice host. We have had there the best daikiri ever!!:) Comfortable accommodation. A bit too small breakfast, but everything fresh. It is worth to visit Baracao. Beautiful town and an area.
