Casa Kety

Casa Kety is a very comfortable place to enjoy Havana from. Jaime and Kety our welcoming their guests really nice, the rooms are spacious and clean and there is a private bathroom for each room. Breakfast was included for us , which was delicious. They can't speak English, so you'll enjoy a little more when you know some Spanish.

The location was ok. It's a little outside of Havana Vieja, but easy to get a taxi or if you are fit enough it's a good hike ;)

Helaas hebben we maar 1 nacht in Case Kety kunnen overnachten vanwege vertraging op het vliegveld. Maar het verblijf was super. Het ontbijt was erg goed en zoveel dat we het niet allemaal op konden. Kety is een leuke gastvrouw die honderd uit praat. De locatie is super mooi en er is in de buurt veel te zien. De inrichting van de Casa is ook erg leuk. Ik raad deze Casa ten zeerste aan. Bedankt en hopelijk tot een volgende keer. Groeten, familie Joosten

Kety's Casa was amazing! It's location is just off Av23 so you can easily catch collectivo taxis, there's plenty of places to eat nearby, plus the Mirimar Casa De La Musica is pretty close. Kety was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and she gave the place a little clean up each day - was one of our most pleasant stays in Cuba!

Отличный, вкусный завтрак.

Всё очень понравилось.

Prima casa, schoon en erg vriendelijke gastvrouw. heerlijk ontbijt. Wij zijn 2x naar dit casa geweest omdat het voor ons 1 van de fijnste van cuba was. Enige minpuntje, gastvrouw spreekt geen Engels,maar het kwam goed, desnoods werd er iemand die Engels spreekt bijgehaald.

Excelente experiencia en casa Kety, Kety es la persona más amable y te ayuda con información para ver lo mejor de habana y tips para recorrerla, los cuartos muy limpios el desayuno delicioso y excelente atención.

Our 4-day stay at Casa Kety was fantastic! Our hosts couldn't be more helpful! The breakfast was great (included in the price)and our triple room was always clean (room service everyday). They even helped us find a casa in Trinidad! Definitely one of our best stays during our vacation in Cuba! Highly recommended!

The casa is in Vedado across the street from The St.Cristobal Cementery. Convenient located for Viazul bus station and for Vedado sightseeing. Kety and her husband are very nice people, prepearing fresh fruit juices every morning. The room was very clean and the casa highly recommended.

Para quienes anden en busca de un lugar para hospedarse puedo decirles que la ubicación es buena, las instalaciones impecables y la calidad humana de don Jaime y familia es excepcional, sin duda un lugar que supera lo que está escrito en las referencias

Une casa agréable avec des hôtes toujours présents pour rendre service. Situé a 20mn a pied de la gare Viazul. Un peu loin de la vielle ville. Taxi possible pour 10CUC.

Vermieter sprechen nur spanisch, aber trotzdem klappte die Verständigung bestens. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Atmosphäre familiär. Das Zimmer mit Bad ist sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es wird ein sehr gutes Frühstück serviert, aber kein Abendessen angeboten, was aber in Havanna auch nicht nötig ist.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Jaime and Kety were so helpful throughout our trip and put us in touch with other great Casas in other towns. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and their insiders tips for Havana were invaluable. So thank you again for letting us stay and I only hope we get to come back again soon.

We actually really loved Casa Kety. It's located in a charming and calm neighbourhood from which you can easily take a shared taxi to town. It's lovely to walk around in the evenings as well.

The stay was great as well: a nice room with good breakfast and the kindest hosts. They mapped out all the places we could stay at in Cuba and everywhere we went we had a great time.

They also can arrange a great taxi service to and from the airport (and probably other places as well), the guy who picked us up was super committed and even waited 3hrs when our flight was delayed.

I have nothing but good memories of Casa Kety and recommend everyone to book this place!!!

The best casa particular we found in Cuba! Many taxes and bus lines serve the neighborhood (15mins to the Capitolio). Large and free breakfast (it usually costs 5 cuc each). Thank you kety, kisses from Florence!

Clean room with bathroom, fantastic breakfast. Location is a bit off from the touristic downtown but not too far. It's closer to Viazul terminal(15 mins walk). But what makes this casa so great is the family. Haime and Kety did everything they could possibly do to make our stay comfortable and satisfying, and even after we left they did their best to make sure we find a good casa. They become your family. Thank you so much casa Kety! We miss you.

Absolutely fantastic accomodation. The host jaime is so lovely and made us feel fantastically welcome to Cuba. Have us great advice on where to go and what to do. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the room was so clean and comfortable. It's in the Vedado area so a taxi ride away from the whole town but we were really glad of this as we got to see the real Havana. Would recommend this casa to all!

Muy recomendable, la localizacion es buena para los que no conocemos la habana,llegas a pie al malecón. El matrimonio que lo lleva es muy agradable y siempre dipuesto a ayudar. No esperes lujos pero muy limpio, aire acondicionado,desayuno, baño privado y seguridad

Agradezco a casa Kety por toda la información que nos ha ofrecido sobre la isla y en especial de la Habana. En casa de Jaime y Kety te sientes como en casa, las habitaciones són grandes,bonitas y muy limpias.¡Para nosotros ha sido la mejor en la que hemos estado!

He viajado por más de 15 veces a “La Habana Cuba” y he estado en más de 20 casas particulares, y puedo valorar plenamente las diferencias. Esta ultima vez, estuve 15 días, en la casa de “Casa Kety” y verdaderamente, me sentí como en mi casa en mi país; Casa muy confortable desde la seguridad, que necesitamos y la orientación, cuando estas fuera de tu país, familia honesta, y los servicios como en un hotel 5 estrellas. Desde la gastronomía (Precios muy competitivos, para desayunos y cenas) y los servicios (Toallas, sabanas), mucha limpieza, etc. La casa se encuentra a escasos metros de la avenida 23, (Vedado) y desde ella puedes acceder caminando a muchos lugares de interés, y desde la propia avenida, por solo 10 pesos cubanos, unos 0,50 Cuc, (Unos 0,40 euros) puedes trasladarte en un auto, (coche), a los puntos más distantes, como, la Habana, Vieja, para visitar, el Capitolio, La Catedral, Casco Histórico de la Ciudad, Museos, etc. Por ese bienestar, en mis vacaciones, escribo esta nota en agradecimiento y a la vez comunicar a otras personas que deseen viajar a Cuba y sentirse feliz.
