Student and Travellers Inn

Great hostel in an ideal location, Plaka, which is close to all main attractions. The area is safe, I never felt threatened even when getting back at the hostel around 2am. Conveniently away from all the hustle around Omonia & main shopping streets (though some might like that).

The staff speak acceptable English and helped me with bus timetables etc - I would've been lost without them! The hostel has a nice garden bar and even a sunroof, showers were warm, wifi worked great, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was maybe a bit overpriced but there's a couple of taverns just outside the door which serve filling lucnhes at 5-7 euros (wine included).

I really recommend this place, worth the money!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean. There was always hot showers. The mattress cover on the bed had not been changed, although it was clean...I found other peoples hair on it.

Hébergement parfaitement situé dans un bâtiment ancien. Accueil agréable par l'ensemble du personnel. Un point noir : la propreté laisse vraiment à désirer dans les sanitaires. Dommage !

Hostal muy central, vas a todo lo turistico caminando.

当日、夜中にアテネ空港に着いてしまう便だったので、空港バスが止まるところから近い宿ということでここに予約をしたのですが、当日になってやっと辿り着いたところ、空室がありません、といわれ、結局別のところまでタクシーで自費で行かされ、かなり不愉快でした。予約番号までついた紙を持参したにもかかわらず、当日受付に立っていた男性は自分は夜の当番しかしないから誰のせいかわからないが、あなたのせいかもしれない、とまで言われ、すごくいや思いをしました。

Amazing location especially if you are travelling alone. Very safe and clean and friendly.

This Youth Hostel is located in the centrum of Athens, the Plaka. It's just a short way to a lot of nice places and on the same street you can find a bank, a small supermarket and much places where you can buy something to eat or souveniers. It's quite clean in the hostel. You've got also the possibility to use a crad phone here.

Just the breakfast is not very good.

The Student&Travellers Inn is a good place to stay when you are in Athens.

l'unico punto a favore dell'ostello è la posizione.i bagni sono molto sporchi.un posto dove stare non più di un paio di giorni.

ottima posizione,da evitare se non si ha spirito di adattabilità, va bene per una notte al volo,niente di più..è un pò atroce..però docce con acqua calda a volontà!!!

A must-go place. At the very best place in Athens, great common area and a TOP staff. Free web, good rooms and OK bathrooms. Breakfast is expensive tough, but it aint no problem. GO FOR IT!!!

A really cool Hostel. The staff is great. Always funny even at 4 o clock in the morning. A Perfect location direct in the city. Very good and cheap restaurants just around the corner. Our 2bed room was very small, but ok and clean! i would choose this hostel again for my next stay in athens.

An excellent place to stay in Athens. Lots of commerce, cheap restaurants, and attention is the best. Reception guys are really cool, before you arrive they already know where are you coming from... he received us like "Hey Chile!!!" ... And internet free and hot water free 24h FOR REAL! Near to Acropolis, Omonia, Syntagma and Monastiraki... What else could we want?

Great place to stay very central in a pedestrian only street..shops, restuarants etc just outside the door.

Basic rooms but clean and does the job.

Second stay both times have been great.

This hostel has air conditioning! Good place to stay - in a good part of town near shopping area and restaurants - would stay there again.

Really nice, great location, v.friendly staff. Not all rooms are air conditioned, even if ur expecting it!be warned! Breakfast is nice but costs extra, and there is nice courtyard to chill out in and meet everyone else. Staff really were lovely, absolutely lovely!
