Grandma house was a really nice guesthouse! As a family house, you feel warmly welcomed with delicious breakfasts and a friendly atmosphere, it's a little out of town, however thier grandfather is a taxi driver and he is happy to drive people around to Peresopolis and into town. I would stay if I were in Shiraz again :)

Very nice family. You can speak in english with the family . It is very interesting.
Location a little difficult to find if you have your own car. We recommande

To us, staying at GrandMa House was an enriching experience. The family is extremely friendly, nice, interested and welcoming.
The beds are a bit hard. To go to the centre of Shiraz, you will need a taxi that will take you 15 minutes or so.

actually the purpose of the guesthouse is to offer a local place so you can feel at home which sounds exciting for Travelers,and as matter of fact its less than 10 min drive depends where you want to go in city center!

No beds. I was made to sleep on the floor. First experience of such kind. No privacy because door has no lock. Room is a luggage storage room. Very bad experience.

its the most shocking comment we ever got for our guesthouse! even if one them was true i would accepted it and apologized for it so everyone could see but none of these words are true!
there is Bed, we have no gun to make someone do anything! complete privacy, room was comfortable and large.! Mr Elmar i wished you had answered my messages to clarify but you never did.we both know they are just a big lie. im sorry...
so there is saying SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT...

I stayed one night at Grandma House. The location is close to the airport. The family that runs the house is very kind. They picked me up at the airport and took me to city center. Private room was big and shared bath is ok.

We booked last minute (in a taxi on the way from the airport), because our couchsurfing accommodation was cancelled shortly before our arrival. Even though the whole family was there due to an emergency, they were very nice to us. They constantly fed us and organized a trip to pedophilia persepolis for us. The overall experience was really good. Thanks for helping us out!

If despite being in Iran, you want to be with your home, then Grandma House is probably the only option. The title fully signifies it's worth. The members of the family are exceptionally friendly and welcoming to the guests. Never loose an opportunity to be there.

Das Hostel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und die Familie ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist landestypisch. Saeed, der Sohn der Familie, spricht gutes Englisch und hilft beim Organisieren. Eine Empfehlung an alle, die auf der Suche nach einer einfachen Unterkunft sind und Land und Leute kennen lernen wollen.
