Mitzpe Ramon must be on your "to do" list if you enjoying hiking. Staff/owners more than happy to share their local knowledge.

It has been great there.
You arrive and someone immediately welcomes you, offers you a cup of coffee (and you get it ;-) , shows you around ... if you want to.
They have a really friendly atmosphere, people who know when you ask for recommendations.
Light and power at every bed in the dorm.
Hwo could ask for more :-)

a very special mood for this position ; as its name says, it is designed for wanderers through the cliffs of Maktesh Ramon ; we enjoyed the atmosphere of easy-going people talking together without reservation.

Lee is one of the most kind, helpful and lovely hosts I've ever met. The double private room we rented was very clean and the house itself was great. When we go back to Israel our stay in The Green Backpackers will be longer!
