About us
The Foresteria la Smafera, in the province of Viterbo, is located in Onano, a medieval village. The building was originally a convent then tranformed into a school which it has remained the basic structure. It is an hotel since 2002, artistically decorated forniture from a venetian painter.

Accommodation
The 10 rooms were taken from classrooms of the school, so they are very large: 8 with double beds or single beds
(no bunk beds), all with private bathroom, linen, towels, heating, refrigerator.

Services and activities
Retaurant "la Taverna der Marchese" with roman and toscan cuisine, games room with table tennis and table football, free wi-fi room, breakfast.

Surroundings
The Foresteria la Smafera is located at the border of three regions: Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria. In the Tuscia (The etruscan Area) near the Maremma, 20 minutes drive from lake Bolsena, 25 minutes from the free Saturnia Thermal baths, 35 minutes drive from Orvieto, Viterbo. And all around there are a lot of very nice medieval villages like Sorano, Pitigliano, Acquapendente, Sovana and his etruscan sites. And Rome is at 1 hour and 40 minutes, Siena 1 hour and 30 miutes drive.

Why should you stay with us
For relaxing after having visited the the above mentioned places. It is very quiet.
