Bigallo is the absolute best!! It gets you out of the busyness of florence and into the peaceful Tuscan hills. The culture of the place is fun and welcoming and be sure to participate in the pasta dinner every night! I have been recommending Bigallo to every traveler I meet headed to Italy!

A perfect stay ruined by BED BUGS. I stayed in two separate dorm rooms and was attacked all three nights, most severely on last night in larger dorm (20 to 25 bites).
Food was great, the show was fantastic and otherwise great facility.

Hello Douglas, really sorry your great stay was ruined. Indeed we had some problems, as travellers often bring them in hostels through backpacks and clothes. This hostel was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised with an evening event with music and artists. The food is delicious and not expensive, the views of Florence and the nature are breathtaking and it's an extremely relaxing place to be. The bus ride from Florence went quick and the 20 minute or so walk to the hostel from the bus stop was uphill but not impossible. We can't wait to spend more time here in the future!

A great experience, we had a car so access and parking was excellent. It looked like it was a bit of a walk up hill from bus stop. Lots of pasta and wine for dinner. Breakfast was good with options available. Nice cat! Unique experience that we all enjoyed.

Clean, quiet, very nice place on great location (no luxury but I prefere simple comfort). You need to walk down the hill for about 15 minutes to the bus station which is enjoyable and of course up to the hill when you are going back which is not so enjoyable but is good for your healt ;)
Free parking space just next to the building.
Hot milk,tea, coffee, butter, bread, jam and very delicious cake for breakfast.
Stayed for three nights and was very satisfied.

Amazing place, Fernando and silverster takes care of all the guests, cool and friendly and also spend time with you, they are there for you to have the best experience. Thank you for my stay, it was wonderful. I stayed in the 24 bed dorm. And it didnt not feel like a 24 bed. As you still had your own space as it was a 2 bed cubical. I was very happy with my stay

It’s in a beautiful place in the Tuscan countryside but once you figure out the bus (24B) it doesn’t take more than an hour to walk to the bus stop and get to Florence. However it’s not a good choice if you stay in Florence in the evening because it’s quite dangerous to walk up the road to the hostel from the last bus stop in the dark because the road is narrow with stone walls on both sides. It’s quiet there but I had trouble sleeping because there were mosquitoes in the room.

Hope to see you again this season. Many thanks of having been our guest. Now there is a new bus nr 23 that brings you directly in the center of Florence. Of course need always the uphill or downhill walk from the bus stop of approx 1.200 m

My favourite hostel! I really love it here, this was my second time I stayed at Bigallo. Perfect location to relax, pick fruit in the garden, enjoy the view and go hiking. In the evening you can join the pasta night (really recommend it!).

Gentile Maria, ci dispiace se la tariffa di €. 20,00 non le è sembrato chiaro, ma è quella indicata da Hostelsclub: trasparente e chiara e inoltre per €. 20,00 diamo anche la nostra colazione che prevede succhi, bevande calde, marmellata, cereali, latte, pane, fette biscottate e torte fatte in casa.

It's the most amazing place in Florence! It's worth visiting! You should not skip it if you are in the area. The place can also be just visited, you don't need to sleep there. The staff was also extremely helpful, they offered us directions on how to get to Florence.

Amazing place with lots of history.
Loved my stay and will recommend, but certainly doesn't feel like a hostel. Great experience tho, loved my stay!

Отличный хостел! Просто супер!брали отдельный номер за 50евро в день, комната была огромная и шикарная! Все чисто и уютно, росеошный вид на флоренцию, хороший завтрак, необыкновенная атмосфера. Ребята на рецепции все супер! Обязательно остановимся еще
