1 Step From St. Peter

Me and my girlfriend went to Rome to enjoy the feeling of the ancient city. After seeking a lot of accomodation we finally found the 1 step hostel.

We booked one room there for 5 nights and honestly it was worth it.The hostel was clean and charming, just few steps from station Octaviano and the st. Paul in a really peaceful area.The owners were very kind hosts and the coffie, they provided, was excellent!!:)

If you go to Rome and need a good accomodation for a quiet ok price, just go to one steps from st peter.

close to subway, close to vatican (maybe not one step, but still). plenty of food for the breakfast and you could grab some coffee or tea even after breakfast time. I would come there next time. ciao

1 step from st. peter is in a great position near a metro station and just up the road from st peters basilica. there's a number of well priced retaurant close by.

The hotel itself is excellent with breakfast provided and a 'common room' with free internet.

Well worth a second visit.

The B&B is in a lovely building, very clean and spacious. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and we were free to come and go as we pleased with the kettle available at all hours!! The metro line is just down the street so we had access to everywhere in Rome. Friedrich was very helpful. We had a brilliant few days in Rome & we definately recommend staying at One Step From St Peters. Thanks, Friedrich!

I stayed here 4 night s in octobre 2007. I would come everytime to this house. It´s 10 minutes from St. Peter and 5 min. from the metro. The boss Friedrich makes almost all for you, he is very friendly. It´s clean and nice here. No noise and good breakfast. 3 of us stayed here for 3 nights and we would all definitely go back. Fantastic place, clean, professionally run, really friendly & informative staff and the coffee is superb! I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice place in a good position. Huge and tidy rooms. Better than most hotels. I would definetily stay there again.
