Opis

Caleton del Golfo is an old house, located in the southwest Gulf of the island of Lanzarote, by the sea, in the village El golfo and bordering the Timanfaya National Park. Family owned since the late nineteenth century was always used as a residence for holidays.
In 2000 was adapted to provide its current use for rural tourism. It has 3 fully equipped apartments. It retained the traditional elements that existed in the house typical of Canarian architecture. In a first restoration of the same in the 60's Cesar Manrique intervened, cousin of the then owners. The house revolves around a courtyard with cistern that collects rainwater from the roofs, and distributed to the rooms facing the same. We wanted to keep intact the magnificent terrace to continue to enjoy there so much sun, eat or watch the unrivaled sunsets.
We want you to enjoy this home as intensely as we did for many generations of our family and especially our grandparents.
El Caletón del Golfo participate in environmental protection, so we recycle waste and actively seek to do everything possible using energy saving light bulbs, drip irrigation, saving faucet flow, dual cargo tanks, and everything required for the footprint we leave on the island is as small as possible.
Equipment of the apartments:
LED TV 32 ', cable / satellite TV, double bed, bathroom with magnifying mirror, hair dryer and shower, kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, tea / coffee maker, blender.
We have more apartment equipped with washing machine, oven and dishwasher.
The apartment is clean, we provide you sheets and towels, this service has no charge. For extra cleaning service contact us.
