Teddy's home hostel

Opis

Teddy's home hostel is part of a community project called Mulimuli Garden. The project was established in 2017 and its purpose is to gather people from different cultures and continents together to bring positive development to the community.
We have made it our mission to make the stay in Dar es Salaam as comfortable and exciting as possible and to show travellers the real Dar.

Our hostel offers two dorm rooms à 4 single beds (two bunk beds) with a shared bathroom as well as one room with a double bed and a private bathroom. Towels are available.
We also offer the opportunity to camp in our fenced-in garden.

There is a big living room with a projector, a kitchen and a terrace with an amazing view onto the forest. We have a bar and a chillout area in our yard as well where you can settle down in the evening.
Once a week we have a karaoke evening and a movie night. There is the availability to get food at any time of the day and we do offer breakfast as well as half board. We offer internet connection and guided city tours as well.

Teddy's home hostel is located in Makongo Juu, Dar es Salaam. Being a little bit out of the city center offers the opportunity get away from all the hustle of the city.
Makongo Juu is a peaceful part of Dar es Salaam and it is very easy to get from there to Mlimani City (Tanzania's biggest shopping mall) and to public transport into the city and to Ubungo bus terminal, which is the main terminal for overland bus travels.

We want to give people the chance to experience the real Dar es Salaam in an affordable, comfortable and clean way.
Our location lets you get away from the heat and hustle of the city and offers peace and comfort after a long day of travelling or sightseeing.
