Anmut Hostel is located along Lushoto to Magamba Rainforest Tarmac Road, 6 km from Lushoto town. Construction of our property started on June 2011 with very low budget and we started business operations on May 2017. Our primary focus is to increase the number of rooms in our hostel locality aiming at increasing number of visitors to Usambara mountains through various methods of promotion as Usambara mountains are not commonly known to majority travelers.

All our rooms are in one building currently operating with ground floor. We have 10 rooms which can accommodate 34 guests at once.

Anmut has comfortable and wide bedrooms with three types bed rooms available.

On site we have Tour company office Scorpion Tours Ltd which organizes all outdoor tourism activities around Usambara mountains and Tanzania National Parks.

The remoteness of Anmut Hostel offers an ideal retreat for travelers who seek a place away from hustle and bustle of modern life at urban area. The area is dominated with calm weather, lush forestry, marvelous escarpments, rare birds and colobus monkeys. The area has been chosen due to existing nature and infrastructure as most means of transportation can be accessible. It is an ideal and prime place to stay.

Our property is located at an ideal area for traveler to feel presence and comfortability of Usambara mountains. The area is so calm surrounded with nature whilst close to most great Usambara attractions Mkuzu waterfalls, Magamba rainforest, Irente & Yoghoi view point, Late German rest house, birds around the property and colobus monkey on range. Our mother company Scorpion Tours is on site ready to help you explore Usambara mountains. Our excellent services towards your stay are commendable.
