VERY homely. Private rooms are great. Internet drops in/out. Not close to downtown but quaint & full of character.

I am a Japanese female, visited Fairbanks for Northern Lights and stayed there 2nights.
Obviously my stay was too short and missed aurora unfortunately (people said it appeared the day before I stayed/after I left, jeez!! lol), but stuff were all helpful and kind, hostel was clean enough and warm, dogs were so pretty! Locations is also not that bad.
One of the best hostels ever :)
Guests were also all cool people and I did not have to regret my Alaska trip. I would recommend if you are planning to watch Northern Lights in Alaska.
Just stay there at least 3nights ;)

このホステルに滞在している人はとてもフレンドリーで、すばらしい経験をしている人ばかりです。話をしていてとても楽しいです。
アラスカ大学へは徒歩15分程度で行けます。しかし、最寄の大型スーパーまでは自転車で20分程度かかります。交通の便はよくありません。
また、土足厳禁なのですが、あまり部屋の掃除がされていないので、靴下が汚れます。
のんびりと過ごすバックパッカーにはとても居心地がいい場所だと思います。
