About us
Hostel Jacob is located in one of the most picturesque squares in the pedestrian zone, right in the heart of Brno, on the fifth floor of the historic building. Jakubské náměstí (Jakubské Square) is the real haven of peace, where you can spend some time on the terrace of a café or patisserie and enjoy the captivating view of the late-Gothic St. James Church (Czech: Kostel svatého Jakuba), the history of which goes back to the beginning of the 13th century.

Accommodation
We offer accommodation in comfortable and calm environment in central Brno. The hostel total capacity is 50 beds.
You can choose from six rooms, three of which are double rooms, one four-bed room, one room is with six beds, one with eleven beds and also two new beautiful sunny apartments with the fascinating roof terrace looking over the Brno churches and the Špilberk castle. The apartment is suitable for 2-6 persons; it includes the fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a bath, hairdryer, TV,

Services and activities
You have the fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave, grill, electric kettle, dishwasher at your disposal as well as dining room, original bathroom, several shower cabinets, toilets. You can also borrow many board games, buy a good Moravian wine or excellent bier from some microbrewery or watch TV in the common room.

Surroundings
Our hostel is perfectly located, maybe in the best place for exploring our beautiful city.
You will be captivated by view from our windows of the small calm square (we are located in the pedestrian zone) and in particular of the monumental late-Gothic St. James Church (Czech: Kostel svatého Jakuba).
Only several meters from our hostel you may visit the unique Ossuary of St. James Church (Czech: Kostnice u sv. Jakuba), opened in summer 2012, which is the second biggest ossuary in Europe.
