AMU-Pension

Dzięki AMU-Pension wyjazd będę wspominał ze śmiechem jeszcze długi czas. Miejscówka jaka nam się trafiła, pomimo pewnych kłopotów, spoko i w samym centrum starej Pragi.

Excellent location, very friendly staff !!!

The hostel is located in a central area just below the Prague Castle and about 5 minute walk from the Charles Bridge. Due to its central location, you can reach everything on foot and you do not really need to use public transportation.

The downside of this place is the parking and the payment options. When I reserved my room here I did so because they indicated on their site that there would be a parking lot available for my car. I clearly indicated that I would like to reserve a spot, but when I arrived I was told that I have to pay for the parking as the hostel itself does not have a parking lot. Parking prices are quite high in Prague, therefore, I was quite annoyed when I had to pay 2000 Czech crowns for 3 days of parking.

Another unpleasant suprise wasthe payment for the lodging. I paid using my debit card when I made the reservation, thus I assumed that I would be able to pay the rest on the spot with my card as well. When I arrived, I was told that they only accepted cash. I was lucky to have enough money with me, but what I did not like was the fact that they expected the payment in euros, but since I did not have the exact amount, I received the change in Czech crowns since the responsible did not carry any euros with him.

To sum it up, the hostel is in a great location, the staff is friendly, but their profile here in Hostel Club does not reflect the reality. If you have any doubts abotu the place, make sure to call them personally, before doing any reservation.

This place has unique mood and it gives you a possibility of using PRague's main traffic routes. At night it's silent and the only disadvantage I can point here is little trouble with parking (drivers and their cars won't find much place for themselves). I paid in Euro and I can add that I'll find usable the possibility of payment in KC. All in all, I can honestly say "thumbs up" for this place.

Hostel położony w samym centrum na malej stramie naprzeciwko ambasady USA. Bardzo duże pokoje, dobrze wyposażone, czysto, darmowy i szybki internet, łazienka duża, z ciepłą wodą, z ręcznikami. W każdym pokoju jest lodówka i telewizor..

Gorąco polecam dla wszystkich, którzy chcą spokojnie i przyjemnie spędzić czas w Pradze
