The edifice which dates back to 1400 is one of the oldest in San Quirico d’Orcia. The Wellness Wing of the Palazzo del Capitano offers 5 new Wellness Suites Roamntic Suite with 4 poster bed, bathroom with shower and a Jacuzzi for 2 people with chromo-therapy inside the room and a romantic cosy fire . As a precious pearl the Relais hide in the back side of the building a magnificent garden with sun beds, little sofa under the olive trees shade and the “Eden Garden” with Hot Tub and massage Hut, and a variety of flowers and fountain and the “Garden bar” for relaxing moment after a day of excursions
The former stables with the original vaulted ceilings have been converted into a breakfast room with bar, to enjoy the rich buffet breakfast with typical Tuscan product , homemade cakes and bio confection.
Our Restaurant The 'Trattoria Al Vecchio Forno' is a traditional Tuscan restaurant with 2 dining rooms placed on two floor. Fireplace in Tuscan rustic style for the winter nights, a delightful blooming garden for the summer time and for a romantic candlelight dinner, the friendliness welcome for the owners; all this, tasting the traditional regional home made dishes (home made pasta, cakes, soups) with a fine selection of the excellent local wines as Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti Classico.
Further to the numerous inquiries from our clients, we have decided to give them the opportunity to buy some of the exclusive products of the hotel, therefore belong to the same property also 2 shops on the main street of san Qurico the Boutique del Gusto, where we sell local Tuscan specialties and the Boutique dei profumi where we sell the beauty product of the “Erbario Toscano” that our guest can test as these are available in every room ass courtesy set .
For nature lovers it is possible to discover the countryside and immerse yourself in the colours and the moods of this ancient land.
