About us
Because of its access the Lodge is popular with Holiday Makers and tourists on transit who use it as a stopover point between Nairobi and coastal towns.
The Lodge is one of the most innovatively conceived and constructed wildlife retreats in Kenya. One can view from every corner a wide variety of game coming to and from two nearby waterholes throughout the day.

All rooms are park facing, modern style, en-suite and spacious, configured to fit a single, twin, double or triple Pax with a seating area, working station, complimentary mineral water and toiletries, 240/220V shaver sockets in the bathrooms and attention to details making the room feel far more than just ‘standard’.

Surroundings
The game viewing is usually best around water sources such as the Aruba Dam.
- The park is home to the largest Elephant herds in the country. It is also home to a good population of Giraffe, many Zebra, Impala and Gazelles, as well as irritable Buffalos. Predators are represented by large prides of Lions (the region was made famous due to the Man-eaters of Tsavo, two Lions that killed around 130 people during the construction of the railway line in 1898), elusive Leopards, and the Cheetah.
