PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport you can travel to the hostel for about €5.50 by train. Trains leave every ten minutes to Amsterdam. Get off at station Amsterdam Central Station and change for the train to Amsterdam Muiderpoort Station. Normally this train leaves from the same platform. Get off at Amsterdam Muiderpoort and walk along the Insulindeweg (to the left at the bottom of the stairs). Then turn left on the Sumatrastraat and you will find Stayokay at the end of this street.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport you can also take a shuttle bus that leaves every 30 minutes between 7 am and 9 pm. You can buy tickets from the Connexxion counter at Arrivals 4 - Schiphol. The bus will cost about €16.50. The shuttle bus will drop you off right in front of the hostel.

A taxi from Schiphol to Stayokay will cost about €60.00.

From Amsterdam Central Station, you can reach the hostel with Bus 22. You will find the bus stop for Bus 22 in front of the Victoria Hotel. Take this bus in the direction of 'de Indische Buurt' and get off at Javaplein. Walk into the Borneostraat and you will find Stayokay after a few minutes on your right-hand side.


ON FOOT
When you travel by train, you can get off at Amsterdam Muiderpoort station. Take the stairs to the left and follow the Insulindeweg. Turn left into the Sumatrastraat. You can find Stayokay Amsterdam Oost at the end of this street.

From Amsterdam Central Station, it's also an option to take Bus 22. You can find this bus at the stop in the opposite of the Victoria Hotel. The bus takes you towards the Indische Buurt. Get off at the Javaplein stop and then walk to the Borneostraat. You will find Stayokay Oost after a few minutes on the right.

Another option is to take Tram 14 from central Amsterdam to the Zeeburgerdijk stop. When you get off, walk for a few minutes in the direction of the tram and on your left you will come across Stayokay.

BY CAR
You can plan your trip by above, on the map you can see where the hostel is located. When you travel by car, please keep in mind that there is no free parking.

PARKING
Parking is €40.50 per day.

A cheaper place to park is the P+R Zeeburg. For up-to-date rate info and directions please see here. From there you can take bus 37 in the direction of Amstelstation. Get off at Muiderpoort station. Walk along the Insulindeweg and turn left at the Sumatrastraat. You will find Stayokay Amsterdam Oost at the end of this street.
