The main train station in Ljubljana (in Slovenian: Zelezniska postaja)/eng/ is relatively small, and is situated in the middle of the city, some 10 minutes walk to the old town. There is a tourist information office in the building.
Bus station is positioned opposite Ljubljana train station. This will be your starting point if you arrive by shuttle from the Brnik airport. There is a taxi rank in front of the railway and bus station. We suggest calling the cheapest taxi in Ljubljana or calling us to pick you up. If you want to reach us using public transportation you need to go to Dunajska street (Bavarski dvor) and get on the bus number 14. Get off the bus infront of Lesnina building (fourth stop), cross Drenikova street at traffic lights, turn left into Janševa street, then right to Kolarjeva street. Ring a bell on Kolarjeva 10. If you intend to use bus transportation in Ljubljana, you need to buy Urbana card. You can get it for one time fee of 2€ at tourist information centers, most city street kiosks and post offices hold it as well. One journey costs 1.20 € and allows you to change as many busses as you need in a time of 90 minutes.
