We created the ultimate place for extreme sports enthusiasts and travelers, people who are young at heart and chasing the thrill of living free. The Surf Shack creates the perfect setting for meeting new and interesting people from all around the world that want to live out their passions for extreme sports or just enjoy the relaxed way of the beach culture in a chilled out environment

Property Communal Layouts

The Chill Lounge - Located on the ground floor. This is a open plan lounge area with two comfy luxury couches, it has a 42 inch HD LED Television with DSTV & PlayStation 3 for your entertainment, a cozy fire place for a cold night and some bean bags lying around to relax on.

The Comfy Lounge - Located on the second floor this is a small lounge area with a corner comfy couch where you can sit and relax while reading a book or a magazine or when you just feel like relaxing in the sun.

Surroundings
Our Location & Surrounds: The Surf Shack – Surf House & Backpackers, is located in a sought after area close to various shops, restaurants, clubs and the kite surfing paradises of Blouberg beach and Big Bay (home of the Red Bull King of the Air world kite surfing competition). There are various things that you can do, try out for the first time, lots of places you can explore and lots of adventures to find. We are a short drive from Table Mountain, the W&A Water Front and Cape Town harbor.

The Surf Shack will not be held liable for any injury, that a cures on the premises, and do not take any responsibility for any one's child on the premises! We are sorry that we have to enforce this policy but it is for everyone's best interest while staying at The Surf Shack. Please bare in mind we are located in a residential area, so the utmost respect and consideration for the neighbours must be kept regarding noise levels at night. Furniture and contents in the house are not to be vandalized or damaged. If so, you will be held liable for damages.
