Family friendly helpful staff great location we loved it!!

The location of this hostel cannot be beat. It's so conveniently located to major attractions (across the street from Pike Place Market, and easy tram ride to the Space Needle, EMP museum, Chihuly Gardens, etc.) and convenience (next door to Target). The staff was friendly and pretty helpful. Cleanliness was better than I expected for a hostel (the hostel was cleaned once a day), and most of my rating for cleanliness has to do with the actions of fellow guests. I would stay there again.

Shower room is enough, but i couldn't close my room window.. But location & room rate is great :)

This was my first experience in a hostel and it was amazing. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the location couldn't be better. Although shared on a hallway, the bathrooms are single occupant (and upgraded with a glass shower). I loved everything about my experience. Will DEFINITELY recommend/stay again!

Rooms and bathrooms very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Location can't be beaten. Free and good breakfast everyday and free dinner every other day. Lots of information and activities, what else can you ask for? GREAT place, totally recommended.

This is hands-down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, second only to Tokyo International. It's affordable, in a great location, free breakfasts, clean and spacious bathrooms, friendly staff, the whole nine yards. I can't recommend them enough.

The staff was helpful and check in was fast and easy. I had a great nights sleep and was on my way in the morning without any drama. I've stayed here before and I will stay here again.

This was a fantastic hostel. Excellent location, loved the dinners and breakfasts. Fantastic washrooms. Loved the self contained bunks with curtains & individual lights. Loved it.

It was really great. pike market place is nearby here, and services like breakfast or clearness are nice. And also you can see the sea behind pike market place.

Es un muy buen hostal, está ubicado al frente del Public Market por lo que se puede ir caminando a varios de los lugares más bonitos de Seattle. Las habitaciones son cómodas, cada cama tiene una cortina que te da privacidad, y hay cena gratis tres días de la semana :) Definitivamente me volvería a quedar en el Green Tortoise.

I had a great time staying at Green Tortoise. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I made some nice friends at hostel. there are great travelers at this place..you gonna love it..and we did pub crawling one night which was fun..overall it was amazing time at Grenn Tortoise..Hope to come back again in the future.

Staying at the Green Tortoise was really fun. It was absolutely packed when I stayed, which I saw a plus, there was always somebody to chat with in the common room. The location was awesome as well.

Great location, great accommodation. The breakfasts and dinners are a great bonus too, along with the other extra things planned throughout the week. Definitely would stay here again if I'm in the city.

Très agréable, très clean et sympathique à la fois.

Bed was very good with privacy curtain but common bathrooms were not always easy to access (crowded), and the bathroom floors were always filled with hairs. Still overall they had a nice kitchen and free internet, and great location at Pike Place.

Definitely one of the best hostels I stayed at. Lots of activities organised by the staff if you don't know what to do or don't know anyone, 3 free dinner nights a week... The only thing is no private bathrooms in the rooms.

I stayed for one night. Check in was efficient and the staff were very helpful, showing me the amenities and showing me to my room/bed. I did think the $20 room key deposit (cash) was a bit steep. The included breakfast was nothing special, but maybe I was late and missed the good stuff. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The location is as good as it gets in Seattle, opposite the Pike Place Market, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. It is close to transport, easy walk to downtown and shopping, and about a fifteen minute walk to the Greyhound. Everyone pretty much kept to themselves in the common area, but this is becoming more common at many hostels as everyone seems to be busy on their laptops rather than meeting their fellow travellers. The common area could have benefited from a small lounge area rather than just tables and chairs. The hostel puts on some good daily activities, which is probably your best bet for engaging with other travellers. Overall, it is one of the better hostels I have stayed in in North America, and would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Seattle.

it was a nice experience, well located, free dinner 3 days per week, delicious breakfast, dorms are small but cozzy, i´ll be back for sure!
