About us
Arthouse Hostel opened in a historic building with modern facilities in Launceston after a lot of years looking. The hostel now offers free WiFi, free tea & coffee and free sunscreen.

Accommodation
Arthouse Hostel has less than 20 rooms and 80 guests at capacity, so big enough for a great atmosphere, but not too big to be lost in the crowd. The FREE WiFi reaches all rooms and the 2 lounges are great communal areas.

Services and activities
The tow lounges, dining room, balcony and courtyard are great hang-outs where you can make new friends and develop travel plans. The FREE WiFi makes planning a breeze, and we are highly know;edgable at reception. We have traveled everywhere in Tasmania, and would love you to see it all too.

Surroundings
Arthouse Hostel is incredibly close to the QVMAG, City Park and Seaport. The city centre is only 10 minutes away, and the amazing Cataract Gorge and Seaport is a beautiful 2 hour round trip from the front door of the Arthouse.

(Check-in after 6.00pm can be organised free of charge. Please let us know you will be arriving after 6.00pm. We will then charge your card the accommodation cost (no extra charges) and email you the security code simple instructions. If you are arriving late into a Dorm style room, you will need to tell us if you need a blanket ($2) or if you have a sleeping bag you can use for free. * Dorm beds come with bottom sheet, pillow & pillow case. * Private rooms come with all sheets, blankets & towels.)

The disabled access is to all common areas, disabled bathrooms and 3 dorm rooms. A Large Mixed Dorm, Small Male Dorm and Small Female Dorm are available (all roms/areas on ground floor).

Бесплатная отмена бронирования принимается минимум за 24 часа до даты прибытия, в случае поздней отмены или неявки - штраф на сумму первой ночи пребывания.

* All guests are required to have government issue photo ID (passport, drivers license, etc).
* The hostel must remain quiet from 10.00pm.
* Drinking alcohol in the hostel is permitted, however drunken or antisocial behavior will result in ejection with no refund.
