About us
Nearly a year and a half after the opening of Jackaroo Kings Cross, the siblings - Rob, Jade and Raquel were looking to expand. Already dealing with the original Sydney-based hostel, an opportunity arose nearly 2,300 km north in picturesque Queensland amd Jackaroo Mission Beach opened.

Accommodation
There are 12 rooms in the hostel, consisting of 6 bed dorms with bunk beds, double rooms and a twin room - all with shared bathrooms. Linen is supplied with all beds and the private rooms also come with towels.

Services and activities
Jackaroo Hostel Mission Beach offers free breakfast and unlimited free wifi. There are numerous bikes available for use and there is a large outdoor cinema. The hostel also offers a large resort style pool with hammocks and sunlounges, a large sunny terrace and BBQ area and a large self catering commercial kitchen and dining area.

There is also a Travel and Information desk, a mini supermarket and a fully licenced bar.


Surroundings
Jackaroo Hostel is located in Bingil Bay, Mission Beach. The Mission Beach township is a short drive from the hostel and is where you will find a Woolworths supermarket, restaurants and bars and all the usual required amenities.

Mission Beach is located just 2 hour drive south of Cairns, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you will love this place. With long unspoilt beaches, deserted islands and white-water rivers fringed by rainforest this is a must see.
