Hostal Portobello

Hostal Portabello was very welcoming and clean. Our room was very large with an esuite and the beds and linen very comfortable.. Catalina was helpful and spole good english. The only drawback would be the noise form the port but in reality it was not a problem given all the good aspects of the hostal. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Ambiente muito familiar, acolhedor, hospitaleiro, seguro,muito limpo e com a vista privilegiada da Baía de Valparaíso ao lado do ascensor Artilleria.

La acogida y el trato por parte de los propietarios (Catalina y Santiago) ha sido excelente, mostrandose solicitos a la hora de recomendar sitios para ver y recorrer asi como lugares donde degustar buena gastronomia. Ademas la decoracion del hotel esta muy conseguida con un toque vintage dentro del sabor del edificio.

Bijzondere lokatie, prachtig oud huis met zeer vriendelijke mensen. Wij voelden ons zeer thuis op deze plek.

Verder staat het op de heuvel naast de lift en je hebt een geweldig uitzicht over de haven.

We found this hostal to be comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great,especially the homemade bread and a toaster, first toast we have had in Chile. Alexandro was very helpfull in directing us and providing information on walking tours in the city. He offered and served us tea on numerous occasions and had taxis ready for us. He and his wife werevery pleasant to talk with. (in english).
