Acicastello, which is only 9 km. from Catania, is accessible by car or bus from the town of Etna in about 10 minutes, the SS 114 or through the waterfront cliff.
Coming from the Messina-Catania, to reach Acicastello must exit at Acireale and go to SS 114 towards Catania (to cover the distance from the junction Acicastello take about fifteen minutes).

Catania has an international airport and railway stations.

- To reach Acicastello airport should take the highway direction Messina, exit at Catania and continue east for the SS 114 direction Messina (Approximate driving time 20 minutes).

- To reach Acicastello from the Central Station of Catania should take Viale Africa, then drive along the Sea (Approximate driving time of 10/15 minutes).
