From the airport:
Balice airporport is situated 11 km west from the city center. There are 3 bus lines that will take you there: 208, 292 and 902 (night line). You can check the schedule at www.mpk.krakow.pl. It takes app. 40 minutes to get there and costs 5 pln (ticket valid for 90 minutes).
There is also a very convenient train which will take you from the center (Main Railway Station) to the airport in 15 minutes. It runs every half hour from 4 AM to midnight and costs 6 pln.
From the main station you can take trams no. 19 or no. 50 to the stop 'Starowislna', which is only 3-4 stops away.
